Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a 3D platformer Kirby game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The player controls Kirby in an adventure through the titular forgotten land, called the New World, to rescue Waddle Dees kidnapped by the ferocious Beast Pack. To complete each stage to save the Waddle Dees, Kirby can use a wide range of copy abilities to help battle enemies and progress. The game was developed for the 30th anniversary of the Kirby series.

Feeling hungry? Kirby can inhale real-world objects and transform using Mouthful Mode! Why get one drink from a vending machine when you can swallow the whole thing? Then, use your boxy body to shoot out cans at baddies. Consume a car to gain some wheels and slam through walls. Sit back and take it all in...literally.

Brett brings up a good point; there really should’ve been a statue for Bandana Waddle Dee!

I just rewatched that first fight, and I saw the moment Kirby took damage by looking at the health bars (they shake when you get hit). The damage Kirby took was at 9:57. The best I can guess is that Masae blocked in time but dodged too late, causing her to take chip damage that didn't even show up on the health bar. It was so quick and subtle, I wouldn't be shocked if I was the first one to notice.

Now that you have completed the base game and saved all the Waddle Dees, I think it is alright to reveal that there was an easy way to get the "Take no Damage" challenges, especially with P2, Brett/Masae, doing all the damage. The second sword ability, Gigant Sword, came with a shield when pressing L or R. That shield makes you COMPLETELY invincible to all damage from ALL sides, not just the front, even though it visually shows you have a shield at the front. So... if they attack from the air, ground, the sides, or back, you will take absolutely no damage. Masae/Brett could've just stood in the middle of the stage and kept holding the guard button while the other whales on the boss. That copy ability is kind of busted for it to be a second stage. Also, I agree with Brett. There really should have been a statue for Badana Waddle Dee for completing the game/every level with a P2.
