the kirby generation 4 is my previous kirby starship care system cleaner machines. right now I have ultimate g diamond edition. with new mini emptor same model is Sentria 2 and Avalir. I really like it alot.
+Shawn Capps Kirby's are very well made and serviceable machines glad you like your Kirby. You should check out a SEBO x4 or a Miele u1 sometime I think you'll be even more impressed with them.
I'd like to know how to change the transmission on these. I've been working on kirbys for a long time for my collection I just don't touch those things because I don't want to spend 150 at my vacuum store to do that one thing because I can do the rest.
While I have been in the industry for close to 10 years, I recently committed a Kirby sin, I took the transmission apart. Thankfully its on my G4 I use at home, but how exactly does it go back together? I haven't quite figured it out yet.

well all good but kirbys are famous for there shampooing not there vacuming i,m trying to find a video about the shampooing of the kirby like i wrote in another comment i cant get the suds to come out and yes the little screen is there what can be the problem thanks
