Pretty sure that you start with the #1 side up and then move to #2, #3 as the brushes begin to wear. This was the design to adapt to the brushes getting shorter due to wear over time.

Brush rol hieght adjustment is for wear not other carpets, this will burn out belts. Watch my video

I'm 66 y.o. and have difficulty due to arthritis and the weight of this machine. I've went through 3 belts that keep getting cut on this tight wheel inside. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG 😕 🤔

Okay Kirby people. How often do you have to replace the belt? I'm not even kidding I have to replace my belt about every 4 or times I use it. I should never have bought this vacuum.
