Hi MixerVM. The shampoo attachment nozzle is made out of polymer so it will not rust or corrode. We recommend rinsing the soap and debris off the nozzle and letting it thoroughly dry before packing it up for storage.

Hi Shazad59. If you use hot water in the tank instead of warm water, the soap tends to foam up excessively. This makes for a messier cleaning job, but it won't hurt anything.

Hi McCward1996, the Rug Renovator was a catchy name that as used for many years. It was simply a marketing decision to change the name to the Carpet Shampoo System which the company felt better conveyed the purpose of the shampoo system to the customer.

Can the brush from the shampoo system be used for carpet fluffing or is there a difference in end caps?

+Mark Ague The ends of the brush roll are different. You may find good fluffing results however by going over a dry carpet with the carpet shampoo system without using any shampoo or liquid.
