Merry Christmas and happy holidays, folks! I hope you enjoyed Kirby Guardian episode 9. "Snow Cone Neighbourhood" is available on my Newgrounds and SoundCloud pages, if you feel like listening to them frosty tunes. Until next time! on.soundcloud.com/w53u9 www.newgrounds.com/playlist/137209/kirby-guardian-ost
What do you get when you put Adeleine, an underused character, Kirby Mass Attack, an underrated game, and animate a whole series with actual effort and lore? You get Kirby Guardian, folks. An amazing series.
3:11 It strikes me again just how great your compositions are and how wonderfully you use them for the stories. With the 'Boss Prelude' playing under everything, it really feels like the Company has committed to an intense, all out brawl- over a rock. It's adorable really~
Man the vibe of this episode took me back to the beginning of the series. Super nostalgic. I’m glad to see Adeleine and the company having a good time. Another banger as usual, Kimi
I gotta say. This is truly a beautiful wintery wonderland animation. I love the details from the Kirbys running their own villages. Adeline making a Snow Dedede and being her fresh self. The Glum Kirby and Pride Kirby being the villians in this case.. that's a twist I didn't see coming, Adeline getting angry at them and just yeeting the precious rock, and of course all of this was based on something you did in real life. Love the details. Happy Holidays!
That the SnowDedede is Modeled after his Kirby64 Appearance is an Extra Delight... Are you Sure the 'Real Life' Thing isn't referring to the Fact the Company are trying to Recreate the Day-to-Day goings on in Adeline's Town? Clearly, the Attempt was quickly Dashed by OddOne, ProudOne and GlumOne's own Tomfoolery, but Art Reflects Life, and Vice-Versa!
Mama Adeleine at 3:45: "Oh, i see, So this rock is the cause of all this noise." Proud one: Nothing to see here mom.😁... Wait, MOM NOOOO!!! Also, This is a VERY GOOD video as always. Definitely worth the wait.
Nice little story to see before Christmas comes. No idea why the hell they wanted thay big rock so badly, but it checks out with their character. lol 😆 On a serious note, I really enjoyed the color pallette on this short. There's just something about different shades of blue during Winter that always gives me a cozy feel. Always looking forward to whatever the Company and Ado will be up to next year. Merry Christmas, Kimi. 😊♥️🎄
Honestly. This is quite a funny episode and I enjoyed it! It's really funny that both Glomone and Proudone tried to get that big stone but only to fail and tried to fight the Company and get in trouble by Adeleine, who just threw the rock away. When i saw it on my Notifications window, I was like "YES YES YES!" and while it may be short, it's still an amazing episode and funny, and it's nice to have a short episode after episode eight (which is my second favorite episode). Also the fact you based it on you and other kids have a rock throwing fight (which sounds very painful and quite dangerous) from 18 years ago and have the Company be the ones to get and was trying to throw rocks, that's quite funny. I hope you Kimi and everyone have a wonderful Christmas time and the people who can't celebrate Christmas, have a wonderful day and god may bless you!
Ah, the things these little guys get up to. Reminds me of when I helped some friends build a dirt and sand hotel for lizards using large rocks as the walls. We rarely had customers, but when we did, we put them in one of the rooms (a hole in the wall of dirt) and used small pieces of wood or tanbark as doors to keep them in. It was more like a prison now that i think about it. We didn't kill any lizards though..... I think.
A merry Christmas to both Adeleine and you Kimi! Your animations put a smile on my face every time I watch them and to have one right before Christmas feels like you’re giving us an early present! Thank you and keep being awesome ^_^
Cheers to the holidays and an early new year hope it goes as well as this animation cause you knocked this one out of the park like Adeleine did with that rock
Man, I remember running into this series of yours a few years back and I loved how well it was animated and how wholesome it was. And it even had me chuckling at times. Imagine my surprise and elation to see even MORE episodes! And it's evident that you've put a lot of heart and soul into every episode! Keep up the good work, Kimi!
This was truly a Snow Village. All right, it’s been so long, seeing them actually happy. Hopefully it doesn’t keep tradition and kill one. They broke tradition.
Wow por momento asi muchos kirbys hacen algo perfecto y ademas es asombroso que hay un buen animación muy increíble para el navidad y bueno algo muy gracioso asi pero es épico hasta ahora
It took me some time to realize that this wasn't included into your playlist yet, but that's fine. I'm just super glad that this treat came out on the same month as my birthday (just wish I responded sooner). It is also really refreshing to see the boys act like, well, boys and all, getting intro trouble with their mama scolding and grounding their little butts, lol-but we all know that she still loves her smol babies :D EDIT: Ey, it's in the playlist now :D
Wow... this was great! I really loved this! Its hard to say somethings like I've forgotten most of the tiny kirbys name's! It's hard for me to remember... 9.5/10 😊
Now this is actually a wonderful animation! I like the story and characters! I also love the art style, it makes them all look so cute! Godspeed to you bud, and I wish the best! Keep up the good work, and merry Christmas!
@@KimiOmega It's people like you who inspire me to follow my dreams of becoming an animator! I do wanna ask... If I choose not to be a 3D animator... Uhm, do you have to draw every single frame in your animations to make it smooth? Or does the program you use do it for you? I'm just weighing my options for 3D, or 2D animations.
I appreciate it! Both 3D and 2D are fun, I do have a preference for 2D, though. The only thing that would be considered tough in 2D is that, if you are going for a certain look, you will have to draw every frame. You can use some techniques to gain a few minutes here and there but for a look similar to mine, you want to redraw each frame of animation.
@@KimiOmega Hmmm... So are you saying that you first let your program draw the frames for you, then edit it if it isn't do your liking? Or do you just do all the frames yourself? I'm just trying to get a general idea on doing 2D animations digitally.
No worries, feel free to ask anything at any time! So, you have to draw everything from scratch. I roughly sketch the characters' "Key" frames, then I add what we call "Breakdowns". They are the frames that help bridge the animation. Finally, you have your "Inbetween" frames; Drawings that you put between the ones you have to make the animation smoother. I've recored myself animating several times in the past, feel free to check those out! twitter.com/KimiOmega/status/1551026479504433154?t=z0a9_F8Bn6OO--Os-jIh9g&s=19

MERRY CHRISTMAS KIMI Adorable as always!! Though not really sure what’s going on story-wise for the most part? Edit: checked the description. Didn’t really get it was just the company playing pretend… oop? 🤷
