Once you reach the door, press B once, and Kirby will break the rock and start floating. If you press B again while floating, the screen will freak out, but the game will still be running, and you can even pause the game. Actually if you press start and B at the same time, the credits would randomly appear and you would finish the game on the demo. I said randomly, because most of the times it will just freeze, as we can see in this video xD After a lot of tries, I finally did it! Sprites were broken the whole credits, but it was definetly worth it! Thanks for uploading. I didn't know this glitch and it was fun trying to get the credits screen on the Smash demo :D
This was done probaly because the game runs inside an emulator, they want to avoid to crash the game iself, thus its only crashes in the emulator before the error message appears.
Bad memspace overwrite around $2300 messed up the color pallette and one to $4010 put the APU in an invalid state. It's not like there's much else TO explain beyond the obvious.
On the Nintendo Switch game place (NES) you could just click the Reset button in the Suspension Menu and no data is affected, but this video is old so nvm

if you are on the final level of the game and about to get 100% and someone soft resets the game then you come back and you see that your save file is gone, youll be like *"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"* which would be funny
I used to get interesting results (Such as it taking me to the Dedede battle), but now everytime I go back to mess with the glitch, it's very boring and does the same freezes and resets over and over. It's so boring that I've wished it would delete my save another time. Replaying up to Orange Ocean with the infinite UFO glitch is more entertaining to me than what it's been giving me now... I wish I knew how to make it give me the interesting results again... if that's even possible, that is.
When you start the masterpiece, one of the files is at I think 96%, so you start that one and then go to Orange Ocean! That's the best way to do it because save files don't matter.
