6:35 this scene always gives me a goosebumps. I thought that Bakugo didn't care about anyone especially his classmates because of 'his unfriendly act', but the moment when Kirishima called him and Bakugo reached out his hand I got relieved knowing that Bakugo are finally able to build a friendship with Kirishima
@@kkrimson5674 what does she say? I had heard a review about Ted Lasso and the journalist used it to describe the Roy Kent character I believe 🤔 though oddly, I am just about to start S2 of the boys, that’s when SF is introduced right? Spooky.
@@oKApplejack She said those same lines "You don't have to be nice to be a good person" Its been a while since I watched the boys. My memory aint that good but I do remember her saying that.
5:31 I know this is about Kirishima and Bakugou friendship but like, my boy Denki here’s about electrocute everyone to get out and save Bakugou from villain, when normally he’s the one who got scared. Seriously, give him some credit.
its hilarious how the writer gave Denki a power that is considered one of the best for any hero.. but in this case, the incredible power has a major weakness.... but saying that, you know for a fact when he leaves this school he will be one of the top heroes. the best use of electricity ive ever seen is in A Certain Magical Railgun. Makoto uses the power so well and it makes you realise how far the power can be taken
@@TGY21133 Bakugou knows everyone’s name, since ya know attendance, deciding hero names and general name calling stuff he just doesn’t talk to everyone that’s why
He has evolved to sometimes calls the other by names (although usually it was when things's about to go shit and he knows it's time to get real serious). I think the only names he sometimes said in casual setting are Todoroki, Kirishima, and, now, Izuku.
Literally Kirishima is the only one who can call Bakugou an idiot and not be yelled at after. Plus the amount of times Bakugou calls Kirishima by his name is so manly lol
Kirishima is such an underrated character. Unlike Deku or Bakugou, he may not be in such a rush to be the greatest hero, but rather a classic hero who just wants to save people. That doesn't mean he's not tough-he's one dude who would have your back all the time. But the best part about his character? He is honest and is not a pushover. Imagine if he was just Bakugou's lackey or his bootlicker-serving as a secondary villain; but rather, he isn't. Not only is he a honest friend, he calls out Bakugou whenever he goes overboard rather than just going with it. Rather than just hanging out with him for being a cool kid, he legit sees Bakugou as his friend and would do anything to save him. Bakugou is lucky to have someone like this for a friend. Imagine if he had a bunch of lackeys around; he would have become an even more entitled bully, or worse, a villain.
100% agree with everything except the past word cuz Thats such a dumb observation when you said he'd become a villain if he hadn't met kiri, like bakugo was and never will be villain and he doesn't need a guiding friend for it. He simply does not have the mentality of a villain but a broody, bratty and egoistic hero (bit like endeavor the difference is he likes to yell otherwise you'd mistake him for being his kid) if he had he'd be by now, he was TESTED AND GIVEN the chance for it too, a disgusting and horrendous job offer by shigaraki himself. but I guess maybe we don't watch the same show or do y'all just obnoxiously love to misunderstand him? Maybe you should listen to what aizawa had to say about blonde ikemen (horikoshi's term for him 😩) in the press conference and let it sink. He has a blatant & dominant personality and is his worst self with deku (well..used to be before the incredible character 🤌). He's toning down not just becuz of kiri but becuz he's maturing as it's a part of growing up and now that he's in the presence of many individuals that can match upto him he's starting to understand, he's finally acknowledging his mistakes and shortcomings just as he's accepting himself in the process as that not to be hard on himself when he can't match up to his own expectations, that's the main trigger, he holds himself at high regards that must be met and so he tries to take on stronger beings to gain self validation masked as general validation, all that just to surpass his own idol of decades, All might. He's extremely petty that results in aggression. That kid DESPISES villains, didn't you watch the show? The scenes with the villain leagues , the amajiki scene from the ova when he litrally blew up everything just cuz "acting or not you've taken the role of a villain and i hate villain, you is enemy, you've chosen death yourself, must die", next the match with class b when he lead the team to victory *that's a mf true hero and a leader who leads flawlessly like brafuckingvo* He'd never was a villain and never did. Just a spicy pomeranian chihuahua. With that I rest my case.
Holy fuck an essay, but I hope I covered everything cuz it's really annoying to hear people say things like these after everything and even with everything going on in the manga right now.
I can see why they get along. They both have the same temperament. Kirishima is a more dialed down version of Bakugo. In fact, often times they both speak at the same volume when you think about it 😂
@@hm.5003 they honestly probably do it bc there’s not enough representation in media I saw a really good video once where it discussed why most fandoms prefer gay ships, and it has a lot to do on how writers tend to focus more on developing male characters and building male relationships then they do with female characters Also hetero ships tend to be the norm in shows, and since there are a lot of LGBT+ fans of show, they like to see themselves in what they love ^^ Now that doesn’t give people a right to hate on straight shippers or people that just don’t especially like something, but if we all respect each other it’d make this fandom a little better :D Sorry that was a long comment to a joke, just thought I’d mention haha
Let's be honest if the moment at 6:25 happened between a female and a male character everyone would assume that they would be endgame The ironic thing with MHA is that despite having a fandom full of shipper there are barely any romantic scene in the manga itself and that moment was probably one of the most romantic scene in the manga by that point
The panel that says 'it has to be you' with their hands reaching out is actually the most romantic panel besides the other cannon ship where Jirou says 'get it done chargebolt'. I saw gay so I said gay you can't deny it's fruity
The fact this is true is so sad. People think the most frustrating thing about this fandom is they “make everything gay” You know what’s REALLY frustrating? The fucking _Heteronormativity_
@@greendiamond255 But it's the same for a hetero ship lol It's obvious that if Kirishima was a girl and was told that it had to be *her* everyone would assume that it was because of Bakugou's romantic feelings towards her. But no, since they're both male, it has to be just friendship (which is totally okay to be just friends, they're cute like that). Them being friends is fine, but it's sad that if we ship them is wrong cause we are "making them gay for no reason" but if they would be female-male friends it would be totally normal for the fandom to ship them cause they have a lot of reasons to do it (not just canon from the manga, they have a lot of material from anime fillers, movies, games, light novels, those Deku's cards, oficial arts, smash, etc). And again, those same reasons only work if they're a hetero ship, if it's gay then it's totally unreasonable.
Makes sense that they're such good friends since one's abilities are mostly offensive and the other's abilities are mostly defensive. As a team, they'd be virtually impossible to overcome in a straight fight.
6:57 honestly I love Kirishima. I already really liked him but when I saw him at this moment it made me have mad respect for him. He's really a strong person.....you know, now that I think of it I don't think Bakugo even deserves Kirishima lol
When you want to reinvent yourself as a chivalrous, hotheaded, passionate and manly kind of man, but your new best friend literally has no breaks and so you end up as the sensible one in the relationship.
I love their friendship so much, it’s nice seeing bakugo show a soft side towards kiri as well :) not like bakugo n deku, actually a healthy relationship, wow you love to see it. (no ship drama plsss, idrc either way)
Personally, I see Bakugou and Kirishima as soulmates. It’s not necessarily have to be in a romantic way, friends can have that bond too. it’s like they complement each other the best, rising one another to another height.mmm, this makes me miss my best friend even more, I haven’t seen her for almost a year now, damn virus😭 kirishima reminds me of her so much, but a bit more mellow and she likes night hugs.
We can see that bakugo actualy respects and likes his friendship with kiri because he is the only one he calls by name and worries about him. He is the only one who he actually has conversations
