Kirito and Eugeo succeed in escaping from their underground prison cell, only to find their way blocked by Eldrie Synthesis Thirty-one, under orders by Alice to lie in wait for them. The three are soon in battle mode.
Kirito and Eugeo head to the top floor of the Central Cathedral. On the way, they find their confiscated swords among a vast pile of weapons in an arsenal, only to be greeted with a hail of arrows by the Integrity Knight, Deusolbert Synthesis Seven. They barely manage to deflect the barrage from his sacred treasure, the Conflagration Bow, but just when they think he’s run out of arrows, a change comes over the knight’s bow.
