He speaks about his conversion to Christianity while living and working in Hollywood, dealing with backlash from other Christians, how tough times can be used by God for good, leading and influencing those around us for Christ, creating Christian media and more!

I had the biggest crush on Kirk Cameron when I was little!! I even wrote him a letter and would ride my bike to the mailbox every day waiting for a letter from him 😅

It"s funny back in the day when he was on growing pains, I always knew he was different! Then to see him in Left Behind, it all made sense. Him & his sister are a great testimony to us, but especially to celebrities in their circle of friends.

This is now one of my fav episodes!! Kirk Cameron is straight shooter!! Not sugarcoating the truth 🙌🏾 there were some parts of what he said that pricked me and that is important because when talking about God and His word, it’s not always supposed to make us feel good.. it’s meant to make us change. This was so good 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

With respect to the negative feedback you both got from your trip to Hollywood, Devin, remember that the whole point of the SALTY Podcast is to be salt and light to your world of influence. If social media had been a thing back in the day, Jesus would have copped heat from hanging out with prostitutes, tax collectors, lepers, and ne'er-do-wells. People would have freaked out and doxed him when he criticised the Pharisees 😅
