The way he is dancing is WAY TO WORDLY FOR A CHRISTIAN CONCERT. People will never become Christians when people who claim to be Christians act just as worldly as they do. They just see Christians as hypocrites for this very reason. We as Christians have to be careful of trying to be like the world to convert people because they don't see you as a Christian they see you as a hypocrite. Because you are acting just like they do. A so called man of God should not represent God in such a worldly manner.
Lydia Dinwiddie who are you to judge what is worldly dancing and what is not? He danced his heart and soul out not because it was a concert but for God. David danced till his clothes fell off is that worldly dancing? Who knows he might have ripped it off because it got in the way of fully expressing himself for God. But David did something which is worship God in the dance whatever moves he was doing, he couldn't care less. Yes we as Christians should be the light of the world, show them the right way, but we are never to change for the world and if he dances like that for God, then we are not discourage that. Be blessed tho no hate
Henry Onyema yes David danced before the Lord but I'm pretty sure jirating is a bit much to call dancing for the Lord. And you are right I should not judge. I recommend this song to an unsaved friend I had never seen the music video before, I asked her how she liked it and she said, "this is why I'm not a Christian because all Christians are hypocrites he is dancing as if he just came from a club." Now when a unsaved person says that you might want to rethink how you dance at concerts because instead of you bringing people to Christ you are turning them away. Going back to David use he danced before the Lord but dancing in that time was different than dancing now. So you cannot compare David to Kirk Franklin. I'm my opinion him being a Christian artist and as a Christian you are to abstain from the appearance of evil in everything you do. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 " Abstain from all appearance of evil" that does not just apply to him but to every Christian. And I my opinion he is not abstaining from the appearance of evil.

Lydia Dinwiddie there's one important thing I learned from Christianity, we are not here to change people to follow God, we're here to plant the seed and let God do the rest. This man with all the insults he's receiving from the CHURCH when we know what he's music is doing to people, planting these exact seeds into people. We're condemning him, calling him sell out to Satan, he's a devil worshipper, friend of the world when he has accomplished what most Christians to date have not done. If his dancing was the factor that made her say that he's a hypocrite, than his/her focus was not to listen but to find wrongness. As a dancer myself, I don't see anything wrong with passion, soul and spreading joy.
Lydia Dinwiddie - It seems this is the first time you watching my man Franklin on stage. He has always been hyped up regardless of where he is. Just like all of us, pay attention to the message and let the almighty God judge the content of his heart. Many like me are inspired by his raw energy.
I read all the comments and I as a preacher will leave you with this. Read Lev 10:10. We are commanded by God to judge the difference. Does this belong in heaven at the throne of our Lord? No. Love not the world nor the things that are in the world. For the things in the world are not of the Father. This man and many other so called gospel singers have sold out to the world. Many of your opinions are devilish and ungodly. Let the word of God speak for itself.
