This is not drawing anyone into the presence of God. People struggling with their faith can listen to a song and be taken back to a time in their life, be it: sexual, sad, angry you just don’t know what is connected to that music. Why not a throwback of favorite gospel songs? If you want to be an r&b artist just say that but no it’s easier to make money off middle of the road churches which is on that pastor as well. But this was wrong, I don’t care what people say. Music is made to glorify God, no other reason. If praising God has to be “endured” by you then that means you’re not praising Him in “truth” like you said and that’s really your truth, so you should stop playing with it and just sing he genre you want to sing.
