Y'all don't understand the impact that Kirk had on gospel music man he brought the realness to gospel music like it wasn't all fancy clothes and hyms it was what u wanted to wear and real messages
Every time i listen to Kirk Franklin songs i feel i have done little towards God, Kirk Franklin songs touches me spiritually, tears start coming out whenever I listen to this song, thank you Jesus, nothing i can offer you but i surrender all my life towards you, thank you my lord
As a NYC area native, we have seen soooo much. The toughness equates being “strong;” and being “strong,” is simply being taught to just be tough. Yet, to shed tears and to feel is called being human. This song broke some walls. The silence and the stillness in most of the audience reveals a truth: they (we) are realizing they really do feel. This song broke through the glass ceiling because we CAN feel because He, the Lord, will be there! Powerful!
He really is! There have been so many covers or remakes done to his songs. My favorite remake is Now Behold The Lamb by Tamyra Gray on The Gospel soundtrack
I love when the gospel is taken outside of the four walls of the church...we need more of this today....not gospel artists trying to be secular...but gospel artists bringing the real gospel!
There's a man (oh yes) Standing on the corner He has no home He has no food And his blue skies are gone (yes it is) Can't you hear him cryin' out And there's a girl Searching for a father and a friend Praying that the storm someday will end But instead of walking away Open up your heart and say [Chorus:] I am here You don't have to worry I can see... I can see your tears....your tears I'll be there in a hurry when you call Yes I will Friends are there to catch you when you fall Here's my shoulder Here's my shoulder, you can lean on me
I just recently watched the video of Lean on me and I knew the girl on there that sings with the family looked familiar it’s the same girl who’s in Tyler Perry’s plays and movies and shows
Some of the people in the audience you can tell their hearts couldn’t receive the message at the time they looked uncomfortable but you can tell their hearts were being touched
quaisha g yeah they were in the group family David Mann sung He’s Able and Tamela Mann sung Now Behold The Lamb and We Worship Your Holy Name and part of Lean on Me
quaisha g No the two soloist for silver and gold were Kiesha Grandy on the video version and on the CD live version was Cassandra Cleveland this was on their first album they did two recordings for the live recording they did a live recording that you can only hear on CD they decided to do a CD release of that same concert and they released that on a DVD video I should say and Kiesha Grandy was the lead singer. And if you hear the audio live version that’s Cassandra Cleveland
You are a negation blessed by God, and may this gift be more and more inspired by the holy spirit. listening to you since 2012. Amós Figueiredo do Brasil.
Como eu me sinto feliz por encontrar alguns dos seus filhos aqui, e ver que eles estão vivendo como devem, seguindo a Verdade e obedecendo aos mandamentos de Deus!
