I've been white for 35, going on 36 years now, and I remember my dad sitting me down when I was 15 or so and he told me, son, if you ever get stopped by the police, it is so important that you do exactly what they tell you to do. All my life I have heard about football players getting preferential treatment because they play. Goateecountryboy - not really. Lifelong fan for over twenty years until about 2013. You reach a point where the guys playing weren't even born until after you were old enough to buy liquor. Other interests, ect. And the biggest turnoff is the politics, like Kirk here, through his veil of tears, I just got older. I hit 35 and didn't care about sports anymore. For the most part.
