Now THAT brings back some memories!! Worked with Joe Richard White in those days and visited Kirkaldy for quite a few years. Loved every secon, although the work was hard - if only we could turn the clock back!!
ahhh simpler times..... there was more variety in rides and stalls than there is now...ok maybe not as exciting as today's but at least it wasn't the rip-off-fest it is today white's, codona's, taylor's real one-armed bandits 1p play, 3 cherries= 6p win, the home'n'wear next to the bus garage and went the whole length from the troc (opposite the 'country' bus stop) to the bus garage and of course the REAL 'divebombers' - looked like they'd been made in a shed someplace from scrap!
