Kirnu is the prototype Intamin ZacSpin at Linnanmaki. This 4th Dimension coaster allows the vehicles to rock and flip freely throughout the course. If you're on familiar with Six Flags Magic Mountain's heavily-neutered Green Lantern, do not let that sour your opinion on the model as a whole! The others are far more comfortable and wild ride experiences.

Love the "animated clown" on the ride. This is definitely a coaster I'd like to produce as a working scale model. I likened its design as a human riding version of the game Plinko. It is an interesting ride concept none the less. If they can get more spins + maybe some water spray effects (or other special effects) could really enhance the ride and make it more appealing to small as well as large parks. Just has to be re-rideable. LOL!

I haven't ridden a ZacSpin. Green Lantern was SBNO on my first visit to SFMM in late 2018, but from what I heard about that ride, that was a blessing in disguise. It's good to hear that the others operate as intended.

Incredible to think that the US with its lawsuits is responsible for the failure of Intamins ZacSpins, alongside the accident in Spain, where the harness was modified. I was always wondering what caused Green Lantern to be so unpopular, I really enjoyed the version at Gröna Lund.

Yes, they modified it since maintenance had to be called to flip the vehicles back upright. Ops are allowed to do that themselves in other countries.

I rode Green Lantern before it was neutered. I really wish I had taken videos of the intense spinning, as I’ve never seen anything else like it. The line moved quickly because so many people watched the ride and left the line. It was the most intense ride I’ve ever experienced, but not really intense in an enjoyable way - I really couldn’t handle the intensity. It made my head want to explode.

The coaster is now at La Ronde. And they still haven’t opened the coaster. I feel so bad for my home park. We’ve had just bad rides for the past years. No comfort thrills anymore… 🙄😐

I was in Linnanmäki in the August of 2020 when the pandemic was at its highest in finland and the park was empty. I was the only rider on Kirnu so an operator rode it with me on the other side to balance the car.

I went to Terra Mítica in 2022 when it reopened the entire park since it was closed during the pandemic, and I watched and rode Inferno. Of all the four Zacspins, most people who have ridden a Zacspin experienced Insane at Gröna Lund?

I know the one in Terra Mítica. It was repainted after the incident when the teenageer was killed while the harness sprung open in July 2014.

I'm actually curious if the not touching the ride vehicle rule is U.S. Specific or if it is Six Flags specific. If U.S. only, that could partially explain the relocation to Canada. The other part is that the Montreal gp speaks French and may not know its reputation as Green Lantern.

Canobie Coaster would say: Kirnu is the prototype Intamin ZacSpin at Linnanmäki. This 4th dimension coaster allows the vehicles to rock and flip freely throughout the course, which results in a wild and unpredictable ride experience. It's intense, as the first and third raven turns had me clenching onto my restraint and I love their ferocity. The two downsides with the coaster are the restraints causing some discomfort and the ride's laughably short length, making it one of the shortest coasters in the world. I slightly prefer the S&S free spins over Kirnu for the superior comfort and longer ride duration, but I still do appreciate... A) the similar ride experience that Kirnu offers. B) the different ride experience that Kirnu offers.

It may have the shorter layout than Green Lantern but boy oh boy are the Europe Intamin Zac Spins so much better. I heard Insane at Gröna Lund is so much better than Green Lantern and I bet it's the same as this. Iv only ridden a free spin and I really enjoyed it, this is a much different experience though.

Imagine a small family amusement park in southern Germany getting an Intamin ZacSpin 82 foot tall model near the front of the park. How would you like, that it would have a dampened motion with the vehicles having painful and jerky movements like the former Green Lantern First Flight at Six Flags Magic Mountain, or that it would have the allowed motion to the vehicles to rotate and flip like a typical ZacSpin?

Shuffling I usually use for the train shaking side-to-side. Vibration is when you feel small little bumps. Rattling is when the vibration is more intense.

The park lessened the ability for the cars to flip. This caused painful forces. They did this because in the US if a vehicle returned to the station upside-down, an operator couldn't unflip them and had to call maintenace. Foreign ride operators have been able to reset it themselves.

This video just got me terrified of other 4d coasters because I already hated this, it was short but all of it was uncomfortable. The way it flipped was just not something I enjoy, also hitting the brakerun upside down really doesn't help.
