So good to see the JetSki eat it, they’re a stain on the ocean, just like snowmobile’s are in the pristine mountains. If you want to ride something, make the physical manual effort and do it yourself, good for your fitness and better for the environment. And Kirra is the best right hander in Oz when it’s on.
@@rickavery1372 Well actually, have done both, nothing like fumes and motor sounds to kill the ambience of pristine environments. And let’s not forget the number of people who get access to conditions (snow & sea) via motorised transport that they have no idea how to ride in. I’ve surfed for 45 years and snowboarded for 22 so I’ve got a very good handle & deep experience on both and absolutely nothing will convince me they are good for either environment. And absolutely snowboarding has saved multiple resorts from closing but that was inbounds riding, not snowmobiles back country.

I thought the music was perfect for juicy barrels in that thick cesspool of jet skis, lip enthusiasts and the hopelessly out of position. Sweet lush melodies framed by evolving chaos all anchored to the drums. Seems pretty accurate to me!
Just ONE TIME back in 2003 I got the legendary Bommie from Snapper right thru Greenmount and big and little groyne Kirra. 7-8ft day but this was 10ft for sure. Caught everyone else inside. I'll never forget that one
What was the guy on the jet ski trying to do at the opening? Was he stuck, trying to avoid someone in the water then pearled, or was he trying to ride the wave with a dude on back?

@@bh2861 how’s that relevant, I surf it almost everyday and it was ridiculous. This footage is old, I haven’t seen skis this stupid since dhd went over the hangers, hopefully a wake up call for everyone.
