Set in a small Orlando-adjacent town in 1992, "On Becoming a God in Central Florida" is dark comedy series starring Kirsten Dunst as Krystal Stubbs, a minimum-wage water park employee who lies, schemes and cons her way up the ranks of Founders American Merchandise (FAM)-the cultish, flag-waving, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme that drove her family to ruin in the first place. Determined to make a better life for herself, Krystal dives deep into FAM, until her business begins to affect those closest to her.

I’ve been a fan of Kirsten Dunst also since, Interview With A Vampire, Jumanji, Small Soldiers, etc... The list goes on, and she’s transitioned successfully from child actress into an adult actress. 💛🌼👱🏼‍♀️ I will be checking out this series as well, you go Kirsten! #HugeFan 👏🏾

She's been great in so many things and loved her forever. She always ventured in cool different things throughout her career .She has many classics in her repertoire.I've been such a fan of different projects of hers and also her fashion presence. She truly found a new place in Innovative TV characters for herself. i'm happy for her

Why do actresses and actors allow themselves to be forced to smoke in movies? This is obviously a strategy by tobacco companies to circumvent the ban on tobacco advertising. It is time to ban all smoking and vaping from all movies and TV shows. When I see smoking in a movie trailer, I just refuse to go see it.

@Jonathan Edward We will just have to disagree. There are so many tropes out there like "free thinking humans" and "take responsibility for yourself." People are very heavily influenced by advertising and peer pressure. When celebrities they admire engage in a behavior, it influences them all the more. I do not smoke. I don't waste money or do things detrimental to my health. I like to think I am not influenced by all the clever advertising tactics out there. But that doesn't stop me from being concerned about young people and others who can't resist or are unaware of these tactics. Just because I don't have cancer, I shouldn't be concerned about other people who do or might get it? When corporations reap billions by destroying people's health, it really annoys me. Have a nice day.

@Jonathan Edward It is so disheartening to see every day in the news how many people choose to live in an imaginary world of "alternative facts" that don't challenge their prejudices and biases that have had decades to become ingrained. I think our education system is beginning to show success in the recent generations of young people who are more critical of society around them. However, the powerful forces who want to maintain the status quo are fighting tooth and nail to keep things the way they are. They are using advertising and social media to spread conspiracy theories and fake news to keep us divided and powerless. The messaging is honed to appeal to emotion rather than intellect. I worry that no amount of critical thinking can overcome this onslaught.
