62-year-old Heera Ram Raigarh has been farming in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan for 44 years. In hopes of more harvest, he has been using chemical fertilizers. But just like every year, he spends more and produces less. Many farmers in Rajasthan are experiencing the same situation. Our story tries to cover the struggle and daily challenges of the farmers who are stuck in the trap of chemical farming.
The film is made under the Green Hub Central India (GHCI) fellowship, a project of Dusty Foot Foundation and Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), that looks at empowering youth in environment conservation, sustainable agriculture and livelihood through the digital medium.
