This interview is with Brian Cox talking about his Bally KISS 2.0 homebrew pinball machine which is powered by the FAST Pinball Modern Platform.
Brian brought his machine to the Northwest Pinball & Arcade Show in June 2022 where it was in the FAST Pinball booth available for the public to play. This video was shot on the show floor while hundreds of people were playing pinball around us!
Brian created an interchangeable platform for classic Bally machines. The backglass is digital and the cabinet is generic, so in about 5 minutes you can swap out one playfield for another. It's multiple pinball machines in one! Brian also had a Flash Gordon 2.0 and Star Trek 2.0 at the show, and he has several others at his house. He wrote all new code for each game and used new and reproduction parts to create each playfield.
