The fact that Seal himself has never said what this song is about should be enough to tell anyone listening that they see what they want to see, and that tells us something about ourselves. Some see this as a song about drugs, others about romance, still others about God. The best art acts as a mirror for ourselves.

This isn’t a song it’s a classic ballad . Hard to Beleive that in 2 years this will be 30 years old . Sounds like it just came out . That’s what you call a classic

Been singing the song wrong all my life. Thought "gray" was "grave".

This guy sings so softly and yet was able to kill Bin Laden, impressive.

His album cover looks like the Spider-Man Symbiote suit.

Anyone who dislikes this video clearly doesn't believe that Batman is forever.

This song has played at least 100 times in my head in the last week. I have no idea why. I find this song incredibly beautiful though.

After seeing Batman Forever as a kid I had my parents put this on repeat calling it the Batman song. Still on my favorites list 20+ years later.
