KISS hasn't changed, its the fans that changed everyone is a critic Kiss still is awesome , it isn't easy being this famous and still rockin the world . I don't think any one else good beat this.
Kiss remask tour 1996 Phx America West Arena!! Best concert ever!! Peter Chriss and Ace Frehley reunion. It was like stepping back in time 20 years. Gene was in the rafters for God of Thunder, Ace had fireworks shooting out of his guitar!! Rock on KISS!!

This doesn't sound bad at all I respect these guys for still doing this at their age and I always liked their music. Seems life isn't over when you're 40 :-)
Paul started sounding rougher sometime between Alive IV and Sonic Boom. Really, probably the only reason people are noticing it is because he's always sounded perfect before that.
I agree! In my opinion, age has really taken its toll on, both, Gene and Paul! Unfortunately, if they don't or didn't know that, already, it's a shame that they don't know, yet! For me, even though KISS was the band that got me into rock/metal, in my opinion, for Gene and Paul to "move on" WITHOUT Ace and Peter is like celebrating the 4th of July or New Year's WITHOUT (the) fireworks or having Christmas WITHOUT the gifts and family get togethers/reunions!

I feel your pain. Nice energy from a bunch of old dudes. hey rock their asses off as best they can. I miss "Movin' Around Gene with jumping up and down motion". One of my favorite toys ever.

you cant expect paul to have the same golden voice as 30 years ago, i dont know when was the last time you heard KISS, judging by your comment probably in 1985, KISS is not going to quit, not after there new single went to the top as best rock song in like 6 countries on itunes, and have you seen the number of people going to see KISS? KISS is probably the only rock group from the 70s that still makes new songs, its a real shame people like you are like that
Wow. People keep bitching about how these guys sound. But I can guarantee that if they came to your city you'd go. Stop hating on them because they're doing what they love to do. I know I'll enjoy they're concert in July even if Paul does sound a little off.
For real...I mean he's got to know he sounds terrible now...You're right, I think giving his voice a break for about 6 months or a year would give it time to heal and he could come back strong. If he doesn't give it a break it could reach the point of no return.
i like the groove line. Its very similar to Iron Maidens @ minutes to Midnight. IM not complaining at all. I Ilike it. The song has a nice almost NWOBHM or Accept/Saxon sound to it. Remminiscent of some great kiss Tracks like Under the GUN & Creatures of the nIGHT. Not the standard R&R sound of many kiss songs.
KISS fans are so passionate,we don't give a fuc* about critics reviews and lesser about "too cool for KISS"cliques like the RnR Hall Of Shame(oops!I mean Fame!).On a personal note though,I am a big fan of both REVENGE and CREATURES OF THE NIGHT,these are to me their true hard rock bench mark they,themselfs can not pass!
KISS sind auch nicht mehr die jüngsten und Paul hatte eine Operation gehabt also kann die Stimme nicht so sein wie vor 30. Jahren KISS sind noch immer einer der Besten Bands der Welt auch wenn sie nicht mehr die jüngsten sind wir werden alle mal älter.
i hope the monster album lives up to our expectations.........becouse sonic boom didnt have it.........and if some one says sonic was a good album....welll when was the last time you heard it..........i hope you understand what im talking about
its Paul's fault his voice was killer during the rock America tour its total blown out he should take some time off and get it together the fans deserve better
Gretat song. Cool intimate venue. Great drumming and over all playing. Good energy (except in the tired, booring as hell audience - wake up people, it's KISS doing their new single!). Pauls voice is fucke'd up though. We have to accept it. He sounds like Lois Griffin. It's the truth. I hate to admit it. If they had done this 20+ years ago it would have been a 10 out of 10. It's still awesome though. So don't get me wrong. I love it. It's still rock and roll. Time has it's way with us all.
Unfortunately KISS are getting old and on their last legs. This may be their last album and last year before they are finished. Eric plays the best cos he's the youngest. Farewell KISS!
Paul sounds like Andy Devine when he sings. It's time to bring in the replacement 'Kiss'. (Why not...Daddy War-Bucks & Diva Stanley been in poser-mode since 1996!)
