I can't really blame kiss they've been fun for many years for people to go see that actually like them. Now many young fans that are teenagers are actually discovering kiss for the first time. Many artists today in their live shows are using pre-recorded tracks to beef up their shows, if the paying fans are happy with it that's all that matters. # many memories.
He plays how he was supposed to, he's instructed not to go off and add his own flair which Bruce did. That's why Tommy is in makeup, he could play original stuff and be reliable to do that. (Which doesn't mean Bruce wasn't good for the non-makeup era.).
Kiss tour 2040: "yeah they're all just sleeping in chairs while their record plays behind them, what do you want, they're 90 years old, let's see how you're doing at their age" 🙄
who would have thought the Stones in their 70's would outlast KIss in their 60's? I really never thought either band would still be doing it in 2019. Granted Mick's vocal style is easier than Paul's..but man o man. Just come out and say I am singing along with a vocal track (seems like the mix is like 85% pre recorded and 15% live) and be honest to your fans..oh well, honesty and rock and roll I guess are things of the past and never always went hand in hand.. Another thing, why the hell would you move this tune into the set list knowing you can't sing it anyway..so many better older songs/gems that he might have done a David lee Roth kinda thing to and pleased the crowd. So glad I sat this tour out.
Outstanding camera - great job. This is perhaps the most clever by Kiss as Paul starts out faking it and then at the bridge starts singing the song live at 3:24. They fooled me the first time around, but this is the same vocal track from before.
Great camera work and it really reveals the lip sync and live parts to this song. The vocal difference is massive once Paul needs to sing live. Maybe the backing track is blessing and it saving the whole concert. This mix of live and pre-record is clever work indeed.
I was at this show. They were great. If you wanted to see Kiss perform like it was 1979 you are delusional. I paid $200 for the ticket & $85 for a hoodie, it was well worth it for a lifetime of KISS!
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--MPR8yerx9I.html This guy, call you dumbass... Ok, Paul Stanley is Fake and DJ ROACH is great... This guy need a job, or a life.
@@rickr2029 Do not underestimate the power of having the idea that you have influence on large numbers of people. They do love their their fans. Bit it is part of the KISS religion
It's a mix between backing track and Live. In some nights it depends on the status of his voice it seems. Some songs are fully lip-synched though, like 'Heavens On FIre'. He hasnt been able to sing that since the mid 2000s.
I Stole Your Love or Anything For My Baby would be cool. That's the thing - the show is so choreographed, there is no possibility of them having any spontaneity and throwing in something like Comin' Home.
this is technically a Deep Cut ya know ? would rather hear this over Beth or Tears are Falling anyday . but i would love for them to play Strutter or All American Man
I agree..the set list for the end tour is very week..but its obviously because Pauls voice can't handle them..Gene and Eric should be singing them instead.
3:47. Paul sounds like he has a paralyzed vocal cord. That could be the issue he's had for the last few years. The only problem with that is surgery is dangerous and he's already had surgery once on his vocal cords. The chances of him losing his singing voice from another surgery higher than ever so I guess he figures he'll just live with it.
mojorisen74 that’s not the issue. The problem is him shitting on everyone else in and outside KISS that were playing their best and used tracks or help. He should’ve gotten off the road with KISS when they did the farewell. Instead they tore their fans in half and are going out on an extended wake of a tour. Killing their legacy one gig at a time
Truth always hurts little boys and their feminazi side. The voice is an instrument that can't be fixed like a broken guitar string or a drum head. Once it's shot, it's shit. And KISS isn't a band it's a brand. It's ONLY about the money not the music. Lip syncing at 100 dollars or more a ticket, only shows just how fuckin easy a fool and his money are parted. Shut the Fuck up and go lay down by your dish. I saw the Destroyer tour. That was KISS. Not two other guys, Thayer and Singer wearing ACE and Peter's makeup and immatating Aces every move. At least Singer's drum fills aren't exactly like Peter's. F.U.B.A.R !
@@thomasminarchickjr.7355 I agree. I was just saying I think the reason his voice is toast is because of a paralyzed vocal cord. He'd rather lip sync than do anything about it. He may not be able to do anything about it. I think they should have retired in 2000.
if he's lip-syncing I'd say he nailed it. I'm no A/V goo-roo but i thought it was real and pretty damn good. besides I DON'T GIVAFUK! i just hope I'm alive at their age! i saw Robert Plant a couple years ago and it never crossed my mind that it was 1969 and he was 21! people who offer nothing sure seem demanding these days. I'm going to the show near me in a couple weeks and I'm gonna rock it like when they came back in 96/7, when they were ONLY 50!!
Full song is real. Paul sings fake only on louds songs, like Heaven's on fire. (problems with vocie again). Maybe it's one of reasons why Kiss begun the end of the road now
@@jonathondenton3376 That's weird because I thought the opposite - it MAKES him look older - makes his head look like it's outgrowing the makeup head - strange.
KISS HOOTERS you are partially right, Victor Frankenstein was actually a scientist. When most people see the monster he created, who Frankenstein called “Adam” - most people call the monster “Frankenstein” - if I called Thayer “Adam Ace” no one would have a clue what I was referring to.
When he really sings you can see him strain. Always could. Sometimes his expression is way too effortless. He is "getting into it" to try to sell it. But you can clearly see when it's not genuine. I don't know how I feel about it. As great as he once was, it started sounding painful a few years back.
@Rob Cracker Tommy Shaw(Styx), Derek St Holmes (Ted Nugent Band), Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper, Glen Hughes, Dennis Deyoung (Formerly of Styx), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) Tom Johnston (Doobie Brothers) This is a small sample of rockers that have a long career and are awesome too! Everyone of these Rock singers still song at a VERY high level. They are all approaching 70 years old or over. And there are many more.
Here is what puzzles me,Where is Paul or the other getting these tracks from? Did they pre-record them before the Monster tour? Because he was bad on that tour.Did they plan this that far ahead? It woundnt surprise me,but damn
Christina, your brief comment and watching this video, I think has made me come around to your point of view. I prefer it (partial lip-syncing) at this point in time. The videos of Paul struggling and trying sound, well, just plain not Paul...OK pretty bad. BUT it's not because he sucks as a singer, has bad pitch, bad range, etc. He has a physical vocal issue from singing his ass off for 45+ years. I applaud Paul for giving his all and not throwing in the towel. The fact that some, if not most, songs in the set have LIVE vocal mixed in is also testament to Paul's efforts. I'm sure this isn't what Paul had in mind for his voice or to have to do this on a final tour, but he is making it happen. Yes, KISS does things for the mighty $$$ by many appearances. But these guys are NOT struggling financially, so I believe much of this last tour is for the fans and for KISS. If I were in their boots, I would want to give it one more go at a show only KISS can do. Gotta be hard to hang it up after so many tours! Soryy to ramble...Just struck a chord. Pun intended!
"To @ace_frehley he is a iconic guitar player has been IMITATED but NEVER EQUALLED by generations of guitar players (Tommy) around the world" Gene 2014
@kjk 1969 watching it is soooooooooooooo entertaining though....hahahahahahhahahhahahha llllllllllmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \,,/9\,,/ and satisfying
Steve Dunch Yeah it is!! It's shameful what they are doing. I never in all my years of being a diehard Kiss fan that they would pull a stunt like this.
Full song is real. Paul sings fake only on louds songs, like Heaven's on fire. (problems with vocie again). Maybe it's one of reasons why Kiss begun the end of the road now
In most of Paul's songs lip syncs but not the 100% of the song, some parts sings them real, compare I was made for lovin you from 2 shows and you can difference the voice's quality
@@Mondayman622 Never been into Kiss and never will,i've always thought that they were a joke next to bands such as Queen or the mighty Van Halen, mais oui,ouh là là!!!
Says all these losers who couldn't afford tickets and can only watch on you tube!. Amazing!,...everyone's a spot on critic at a show they were never at 😂
@@dirtyharryville I disagree... I can see certain parts where the vocals don't seem to be in sync with his mouth expressions.... the only definite way to tell I guess is to grab several End of the road stage footages from the same songs and compare them all to see if it's the same exact vocal track. It would be very hard to pull of an in sync lip expression if they used more than 1 vocal track to fool the fans for Paul's songs.... he would of had to master the same track for every song to pull of an undetectable lip sync so.... we shall seeeeeeeeee.... :D
I wish that was true. Listen to the quality in his voice when he talks compared to when he starts "singing". You can even hear the autotune in the recording.
@@KaddysJamKave Well, from the start when he's speaking you can hear the raspiness in his current voice. Then at 0.42 when the verse kicks in his voice is a lot cleaner and you can hear the sound of canned, pre recorded vocals. At 3.17 he goes live and sings the bridge. He did okay with it, but you can hear it's a lot more shaky than the rest of the song.
Hey paul14stanley, thanks for sharing this great video ! Paul sounds very good. His huge work on his voice finally paid ! It's a shame that haters will always hate blindly like that's their only way to exist, but this video will make them shut up ! ! IT'S A 100% LIVE SHOW !
who are you to judge that they can't or shouldn't perform. lol go do what they do, for all the years they have done this. Tom. see if you could do it as well as they have or any band of age. sheesh i swear alot of you people just complainers. don't like it don't go then lol
