I"ve seen them thirteen times. By far the best show in the world! You guys got too expensive for this senior citizen to afford or I would have been here. Original KISS ARMY member! Rock and roll all life! Legends!
Many KISS fans hate this song because of its disco format. It is meant to be heard live...it just comes to life in concert in a way that is hard to explain🤘🔥
I don't understand people's hating disco lol 😆 disco is as better as rock n roll is like hating funk and loving soul music. People's need to look before judging by one groups they hate or don't likes
I wanted to go to this final concert so dam bad but couldn’t get off work.. been a kiss fan since my dad gave me their kiss alive album for my 12th birthday. Your badass kiss..long live kiss!!!!!!!!!
Imo and I think mine goes a long way my first concert was kiss seen the stones 9 times acdc. 4 times I could go on and on this was the best Damn show I Have ever seen❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cannot believe this is really their last "farewell" concert....I was at their first one back in the 90's at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Pontiac, MI. Tickets were $27 each, parking $5, two shirts $60, and food. Cost me a weeks pay but the look on my teenage sons face: PRICELESS!!!
WOW! I never thought this band would go the mile, good but the attitude was a bit more than I could handle… proved me wrong! I still was right about the attitude!😊
Wore out double platinum 8 track tape several times. Had to take it apart and rewind several times. Saw them in 1980 as a senior in high school. Always put on a show!
I am 22 and this was my first KISS concert ever and i was there with one of my older sisters. I was so excited and happy and sang every word melody of this song from all the way up top in the audience. we were by genes side of the stage all the way up top. I was wearing spaceman costume to honor Tommy but also I was wearing starchild costume but I couldn't show it cause I didn't have much room to take off the spaceman costume so but my makeup also had split sides meaning one side of my face was Paul's starchild and the other side of my face was for Tommy spaceman. I also had had green highlights in my hair and bangs green and cat earrings to honor Eric so yeah I knew this one was coming and I couldn't wait to sing this song it is my favorite kiss song by heart. This was my first KISS concert at 22 years old and obviously the last so thankyou kiss for Making this girl happy.
@MetalliOnFinland yeah thankyou I had this planned way ahead before knowing or being surprised that one of my older sisters taking me. Ever since high school kiss helped me to be more expressive and be myself as a teen and btw I was part of the class of 2020 so when covid hit it helped me get through school so. I never thought in a million years I would go to they're concert let alone the last one but yeah.
@@MetalliOnFinland technically speaking this was my second concert experience ever but I will also count it as my first concert bc I wanted to see them so badly. My first concert experience was the freaks on parade tour back in September 8th in Pennsylvania. It was alice cooper and rob zombie and I also wanted to see them so bad and I can't believe til this day like KISS I got to see them. I always wanted to see those 2 ever since I was 11 years old and ironic enough I get the chance to see them 11 years later. Our seats were in the pit area but all the way in the back so I cried for schools out and I sang my heart out for poison. Just like KISS I was so excited when I was made for loving you came I was so ready and happy I sang my heart out. I wish we have gotten there early to get the wristbands though but I am supper grateful and honored and happy that I got there on time but kind of late lol cause when they started the intro of showing the globe and showing you what part of the world you were and it shows you madison square garden we were literally just getting drinks and food so and after we got them we ran to our seats I can't remember or have footage but we got to our seats midway of Detroit Rock city I think. So yeah lol.
Ace is the spaceman, Tommy was hired to play in his style. If you've ever heard of a band called "Black N Blue", it was a metal band in the 80's originally out of Portland. Tommy Thayer was the lead guitarist, he doesn't play like Ace naturally so Gene & Paul have told him to basically copy Ace. I don't have anything against the guy but I just can't get into it. Had they have let him contribute in his own way I'd feel totally different about it. That's just me though, I've been a fan since before they put this line up together so I saw the change.
KISS have firmly cemented themselves as the GODS OF ROCK, and no one else will ever top these guys. And they're my #1 favorite band, of all time!!!!!!!!
Kiss was so much of my growing up. I lived in a country where they were banned. Used to buy their records under the counter. Also used to buy a pack of Marlboro at the same time. Also banned. Such is youth but have to admit I crapped myself all the way home. Still have Kiss albums in random sleeves...
Mmm, yeah! Tonight, I want to give it all to you In the darkness, there's so much I want to do And tonight, I want to lay it at your feet 'Cause girl, I was made for you And girl, you were made for me I was made for lovin' you, baby You were made for lovin' me And I can't get enough of you, baby Can you get enough of me? Tonight, I want to see it in your eyes Feel the magic, there's something that drives me wild And tonight, we're gonna make it all come true 'Cause girl, you were made for me And girl, I was made for you I was made for lovin' you, baby You were made for lovin' me And I can't get enough of you, baby Can you get enough of me? I was made for lovin' you, baby You were made for lovin' me And I can give it all to you, baby Can you give it all to me? Oh, can't get enough I can't get enough I can't get enough I was made for lovin' you, baby You were made for lovin' me And I can't get enough of you, baby Can you get enough of me? Oh, I was made You were made I can't get enough No, I can't get enough I was made for lovin' you, baby You were made for lovin' me And I can't get enough of you, baby Can you get enough of me?
Ok, here it's like they're not even trying to hide the use of backing tracks, because you can hear Paul's voice here for extended periods when he's nowhere near a mic. And I don't see a headset on him.
@@jumbod So? I'm talking about this band, not whoever youre talking about, you're expecting men who are almost breaking hips in platforms to scream into a microphone?
@@thefonzkiss Theyre old, they gotta make money somehow, blah blah blah, I mean like its their shows, and their songs, they can do whatever they want, they can use backing tracks, they can raise the price, it's their concerts, plus they are fully gonna stop the touring and concerts because of age, and you STILL expect 70 year old men to jump around stages and scream into microphones?
@@Foolishhh_xd Awwww, is the little fanboy asshurt😢 I’d have the good sense to NOT be attempting to sing when I’m 70, especially when the best I could do is screechy, out of tune rendition’s of the same tired ass set list they’ve been “performing” for the last 20 plus years. We about done here?
Born and raised on kiss since 73 but......... It ain't kiss without ace or peter.!!!! Period!!!! Your way overdue to call it a day. U said it was the end in 97 now it's just past the point of being pathetic! I miss my kiss that I know and love! Bye guys love you
I seen them so many times I lost track, 1st show was 1977 last time around 2020 I have a couple favorite shows 1 was my first which was at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland Oregon I seen most of them shows in Portland 1 in Ridgefield Washington 1 in Minnesota 1 in North Dakota 1 in Florida but all in all my 1st Kiss show & the 1996 tour Reunion tour we're my favorites of all time ... great band ... but it's definitely time 2 get out ... 👍👍
KISS will never come back, because this truly is the end of the road, after 50 years, so if you want to see KISS return, well, it'll be as a Tribute Band, instead of the real band themselves.
They own it and can present it any way they want to I guess. Like it or not. Look at the audience! Think of the ticket sales. Would that stop you from lip syncing? I don't think so... Ok.
Is this really the end?? I saw them way back in 2000 at the then 'Continental Airlines Arena' in E Rutherford NJ (now known as The Izod Center) it was the Kiss Farewell Tour.
I think they may have tonight. The band has an energy tonight they haven't had in awhile. I don't recall a show on this tour they've had it but this was what made them what they are.
It's just where this person was when he filmed Peter performing this song, so that's why you don't see the other three guys, but, towards the end of the video, you get a glimpse of Gene, and their drummer, as well.
Loved’em science 1984. But the end is pathetic. Just find and compare the vocal track from all of the shows dates back to 2021. The vocal is the same. Yep, Paul is not ready to perform as 30 year old any more, but they didn’t even bother to record a new “live” soundtrack. Anyway it's over, and tears are falling
they are just stage guitars used for the tour they aren't his personal instruments...he doesn't play those crappy Ibanez guitars at home or in the studio
Paul Stanley who no longer even sings the chorus of this huge song because this chorus has become too difficult for him to sing (there we see that it's really the end!) and for the last concert (really?) for this show which will necessarily be filmed in all directions, he refuses to sing in playback.
I have been a fan for many years, dynasty for my 14yrs Great show and all, OK. Honestly, and I say this with true sincerity: it's a sideshow, already done, which is sad. Seeing "my" KISS in a worn out playback, and even badly done it's painful. Here respect for the fans is zero .When I started '77, they were a BAND,..I hate this greed and ridiculous shows. A lover of rock on stage. Please don't hate me for telling the truth.
