I think the girls are portraying female figures in greek myth, like Medusa is spread out in the symbolism but also Hera (peacock) Athena (heads on spikes/platter), Aphrodite (the hearts) and Arachne (the net and eating their love) :)

IMO in the first four sets each girl is representing one greek mitology character. Julie is Afrodite (pink, red and hearts) Natty is Aracne (spider and webs) Belle is Hera (peacock and throne) Haneul is Medusa (snakes and stones) That goes well with the concept of Midas Touch
