Agreed. I’m only 22 but i’ve loved KISS since I was little. Nothing warms my heart like the 70s albums do, but Psycho Circus is an incredible song and a great record.
@@messalina2817 SERIOUSLY ? So you have so many hits to discover , they make a lot of tubes ! Don't stay at the old visuals , they serve a purpose much deeper than that (we have the example here) Good discover to you ! and don't wait so much to go see them in live , they still do live concerts actually ! ( and it's crazy , one of the best energy i've seen in live , both the public and the artists ! a thing to see in his life , for me it was on the french festival "hellfest" :) )
I am 60 years old. I have been listening to Kiss since I was 12 years old, I am from Russia, and before that the USSR . In 2000, he played this game - Kiss - Psycho Circus 1998, still stored on a computer.
This is definitely my Kiss song. My late husband saw them a few years ago, and I was blown away when they opened with this. Great show! Gene is a genius. Kiss isn't just about a few guys jamming out redundant songs. They are theatrical performers, whose intentions are to keep their audience captivated and excited for the next act to come to life!
Unpopular opinion: this is Kiss' best song. I like how it's heavier than their usual stuff, while still being catchy as hell, and Paul Stanley vocals were awesome in this.
I don't care what any of you say: I think this is a cool song and video and I love the effects, love the space effect while Ace appeared and Gene, I don't care how many times that tongue hangs out of your mouth, you fucking rock. I love KISS and always will.
What's the point in the negativity? I think this music vid is unique. Not many bands and artist use animation like this and creativity is what I love to see when I watch music videos from bands I love. And it's stupid how people start complaining how Gene sticks his tongue out in this? Umm it's been part of his persona for decades, Gene is just being Gene.
Out of all the classics: Rock n Roll All Nite, Shout It Out Loud, Detroit Rock City, etc. This is actually my favorite Kiss song. Couldn’t tell you why but it is. I went bananas when they played it live in Boston when I saw them last month at The Garden. They bring it every single time.
It always Amazes me when someone makes fun of KISS... this video was made decades ago...and it is just as good..or not.. Better than anything out there today !! When the original members of KISS were together it was... Magic !! KISS 2024 And Forever !!👍🎸😎
The first KISS álbum I ever had. It blew my mind back then with only 11 years old. Today I'm 34 and KISS are definitely between my favourite bands of all time.
Best Kiss' song imho. Extremely catchy, heavy and straight to the point. I love the part with the clean guitar and when Stanley sings "The Carnival has just begun!", fucking awesome.
One of the best concerts ever. For those who do not know, this video was also released in 3D, hence the angles way it was filmed. The concert was amazing and also in 3D! I'm not talking about your run of the mill red and blue cheap glassed, but they used the same type of lenses common today in movie theaters. No small feat for back in 1998. When Paul shoved his guitar out, you swore there was a huge 20 foot guitar hoovering over the audience! This song looked like this video only better. It was the opening song and if you never saw them in 3D, you really missed out on a very awesome tour, with songs from a great album!
My favourite KISS song, my sister first showed me the 3D cassette video tape and fell in love with them ever since. When I went to see them live and they played this song it was the best damn day of my life!
My first concert ever, Reunion / Circus days ....saw them with the original lineup. You hold every concert you see after to those standards, you compare every show you see even today to when you were a teenage kid who just saw KISS
Ace Frehely isn't underrated. He's got some catchy riffs but he's not exactly a stand out guitarist because of his ability. He certainly does stand out among guitarists, but only because of the outrageousness of his stage presence/spaceman persona and Kiss' over the top theatrics. Not because he's a great player. I like Ace's stuff, but there's no way I would say he's been underrated.
+Mike swart Even if it's just Paul and Gene with Tommy and a drummer (whose name I can't remember) playing on it, it's one of the best KISS songs ever released.
Mike swart Now I remember! Kevin Valentine is the drummer on this record. Anton played on Dynasty and Unmasked. Peter only played drums on "Into the Void" and did lead vocals on a couple of songs.
My dad is obsessed with them so my brother and I grew up listening to them. This is the first song I ever listened to and learned the lyrics. Always will be one of my favorites. I am seeing them perform next year at their farewell tour. First time and last time I will ever get to see my all time favorite band since I was 2.
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MUSIC VIDEOS EVER !! I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO KISS SINCE THEY FIRST BEGAN AND I'LL STILL KEEP LISTENING TO THEM TILL THE END OF TIME, KISS IS # 1 .
This is the song (and music video) that turned me into a fan. I remember the first time I saw it back in '98 on my TV (on a late Sunday night, while ready to go to bed). As a kid, it was totally mesmerizing, one of the most fascinating combination of sounds and images I had ever experienced. Soon afterwards, I went to the store to buy the album with my allowance. That classic edition with the hologram cover. There was also a VHS tape with customized 3D-glasses to watch this Psycho Circus video clip on repeat. PS. Frustration came in '99 when they toured in my country, but I was still too young to travel and be allowed in unaccompanied. Mom wouldn't let me. The day they perfomed I watched all-day-long MTV specials, featuring interviews with the band, documentary snippets, the unplugged presentation and several other music videos. Finally, in 2009, a decade later, I saw them perform for the first time! Again, twice, in 2015. Hopefully, next year I'm able to see them allegedly for the last time on the End of The Road Tour, after 3 delays and reschedulings due to the pandemic.
Just watched KISS play, Psycho Circus LIVE, less than 2 hours ago. Detroit, Michigan, Little Caesars Arena "End of the Road" Tour. Of all the KISS shows I've attended, including the 1996 reunion tour at Tiger Stadium, Detroit, MI. I say this without a doubt... This show was by far the greatest of all the KISS Concerts, I have seen (in my humble opinion) . They played everything from "Black Diamond", "I was made for loving you", "Lick it up", "Heavens on Fire", "Do you love me" and of course Psycho Circus... Absolutely EPIC
The reunions tour and the farewell tour was the best show the kiss concerts and I've been to with the original members. I've been to others without Ace and Peter and they were all right but not as good as the original lineup.
Never knew this song had a music video! Badass af! Heard for the first time opening for munic in 2013 on TV I believe and was overwhelmed at how hard this song rocked as one I had not heard before then. Made me binge every kiss record for gems I missed
Just seeing Ace and Peter in the video makes me smile. Those two hold Kiss the greatness of Kiss together so much. Theyre as much Kiss as the other two are. Was a great time to be a fan.
@@ShockMe1994 That's true. Tommy Thayer played lead guitar and Kevin Valentine played drums on this song. The only song on the album the original lineup played together on was Into The Void.
The year it was released my dad was so excited to put this on the old big screen in 3d. I was 9 years old. I watched it over and over with him. He passed away a month later. I was a little living with my mom in another state. So I never got to say goodbye. This was still in his DVD player when it was given to me. I went threw very dark teen years. Kiss. You are the only thing I have to remember my daddy. Im 32 now. I've still never healed. Rip Randall Hugh Lingerfelt aka dad.

I saw Kiss when they were doing this tour, and they were at the top of their game, GREAT show. So glad I went, got to see the original line up too-no counterfeit KISS!
I saw KISS for the very first, and sadly last, time back in February this year and well... they ROCKED the place. I came to find this song and for the first time ever I am shocked- This was, without doubt, my favorite they played that night, and getting on RU-vid and listening to it right here is a huge let down. I was expecting it to sound so much better recorded than live! Glad I have a clip from the concert on my phone! 🤗 No mistake, this version is awesome, but man! They were on their game in OKC! 🤘👅
This album is solid. Haters are to focused on ignoring great songs on their own ideas of what Kiss should be. To each there own. For me I enjoy listening to a bands journey through their careers.
Hello everyone, ah another KISS induced life memory. Summer of 1999, I had the misfortune/fortune to live on the streets (Tacoma) Washington. Anyway my hangout was the 38th street tavern in the heart of Vietnamese part of town. This tune was on the jukebox, and it got picked to blast for everyone to enjoy as well..... Sadly, the 38th street tavern is no more. But the memory is alive and well in my being. Thanks KISS!!......
This song takes me back. I used to have a vhs of this, came with a pair of 3d glasses. Had the 3d and non 3d version of it... takes me back to when life was a tad bit more simple.
Criss and Frehley were just put on the cover to generate sales. Tommy Thayer and Bruce Kulick did most of the guitar work, and Peter Criss only played on 1 song.
