Fantastic version of the song. I was there that year...Kiss were indeed awesome. Sadly that show will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Kiss and GnR definitely put out the most powerful performances on the day - Maiden never really stood a chance following those two.

I know someone is going to come along and remind me that when they were 12 in 1977 that Ace and Peter were amazing and that this is not KISS because they are not there. I understand the magic of the four make-up characters of KISS - but - DAMN! This is So Good - so - listen again and be honest with yourself - this is the best version of STRUTTER.

Well seasoned & still young during this period but passed on by aging fans. But seeing this live would create a new base. Great version!

Straight insanity with these vocals I always knew he was a good singer, but man he really shows how great of a singer he really was. I wish he always sang this song like this. It makes me really like stutter even more.

Metal guitarplayer/singer comments: I found Paul Stanley's vocals in this performance of Strutter to be annoying, pretentious, overzealous, too high pitched, and overly modified in a completely unnecessary way.

This was back in the days when technology couldn't save you. I'd prefer that KISS be remembered that way, but more recent events have probably made that impossible.
