if only they had a time machine in 1969 to see what would happen in Kissimmee in one 40 year generation....they would have stopped Disney from coming here

It’s truly disheartening on what happened to Kissimmee once the Mouse moved in. Highway 192 exploded with terrible gift shops and tourist traps, plaguing Kissimmee’s reputation to this very day. Something like this could have easily happened to Clermont instead, mind you, especially considering they already had a few tourist traps by the late 60s.

We moved to Kissimmee around 1960 and grew up there. Parade Avenue. Carson Street. Lake Cecile. Highlands Elementary. Osceola High School. Valencia Community College. First Baptist Church. Bible Baptist Church. It was truly an "E" ticket adventure !

Kissimmee (or something similar) was the one of the last words an indigenous woman kept yelling right before she was murdered by these colonizer’s from what I’ve read

Well they obviously didn’t get 125,000 by ‘79.. it’s like they wanted to put development on hold to wait for PR to come in. 🇵🇷

Brought demonic spirits and bondage with them here too many Hispanics are too proud of culture which is pride and is interwoven with false pagan religiosity such as the indigenous taino witchcraft the African yoruba satanic spiritualism and then the spanairds brought the satanic false pagan religion of Roman catholicism.... Mix all those up and you get confusion and demonic culture this is why we need true born again Christians who are Heavenly not so proud of earthly culture what a shame.

A very, very, very noticeable lack of black people in that film. Why's that, then?
