I love leftovers. Not because it tastes good, but I don't have to put my energy in to cooking daily. And I hate throwing out food. Both for the enviroment and also because money. And as a single person household it's basically impossible to cook without getting leftovers because portions simply are not made for one person and you can barely get the water to boil for most stuff with one portion. So leftovers and mealprep for the win!
Yes! I make a point to have leftovers actually. Husband takes some for lunch and we eat dinner leftovers for lunch the next day too. If I see alot of different leftovers in my fridge I tell everyone that I'm not cooking u til everything gets eaten. I hate throwing away food now, I just see money going in the trash and i think of how fortunate we are to even have all this food and there are kids dying of hunger so I make it a point to eat it all.

I loved it. Having read the books and being embedded with these characters for over 20 years now (jesus), I can tell you that it is SO George RR Martin to do this to them. It follows the history of the Targaryens and just how fucking insane they are bc incest. He's always said it was going to be bitter-sweet, and I love him for keeping that end of the bargain!!!

To be fair, Colleen's feelings towards the series finale of Game of Thrones is a pretty popular one. A lot of people hated the way it ended. I've never watched the show and I feel kinda bad about it but I just never felt motivated enough to watch it cause apparently my mind gears more towards bad shows cause I watch a lot of those apparently and I actually like them. I'm sure once and if I do get around to watching GOT, I'll love it but just haven't felt the motivation to get around to it yet. Although I did hear it's known for showing some...(sorry kids) incestuous stuff in it which makes me feel uneasy about it.
I had such a hard time getting into it. The first episode I must have watched at least 3 times before i could focus enough to remember it or care to go to episode two. Plus incest and dragons, I was like no way. But let me tell you it ended up being top 3 shows I’ve ever watched. Like you’re missing out on serious quality television. I could not stop watching it. I actually watched it so fast I was sad I finished it so quickly.
I loved game of thrones except the ending of it. I agree with Colleen. It was an awesome show, we would recommend it to everyone but that stupid ending. If anything the last season just felt rushed.

Colleen, my husband does the same thing to me!! Notices the cookies or the occasional ice cream I buy for our kids, but gets amnesia over the frequent treats he gets for them. We both get treats with equal frequency but he seems to think it’s me who buys too many sweets.🤔

I actually liked the ending of Game of Thrones (which is a super unpopular opinion), but my perspective on the show was definitely different because I started watching the show only two months prior to the final season. I feel like most fans of the show had been following it for years and were super emotionally invested in the story, while I got all 8 seasons in only a few months.
nah, i’m with colleen. she reminded me how bad game of thrones ended and now i’m fired up. jon, dany, cersei, tyrion, and jaime we’re all done dirty and all had weird shifts in their character development that made zero sense. and who they chose as king also didn’t make any sense either. although i was happy with sansa, arya, sam and brienne’s endings, even the actors know how bad their endings were. peter dinklage was upset that tyrion turned into an idiot out of nowhere for an example. colleen u r not alone

Candy canes are lethal!!!! My mom had a candy cane as a kid and sucked it into the pointiest point. Her brother was dribbling a basketball and dribbled it on too of her head with the candy cane in her mouth. She had to go to the ER to have it removed and get stitches. She still has the scar on the roof of her mouth. 😖
