Hello, I can't thank you enough for your videos. I have been trying for months to get the KISSlicer software to work, so I could get away from the Cube X cartridges. I followed your videos and everything works great. It's so nice not having to layout the $100 bucks for the Cube x cartridges, now I can do experimental prints a small cost. Please keep sharing your knowledge. Thank you so much.......
I have everything down in KISSlicer except SUPPORTS. Every test print I try, nothing I can do gets the supports to snap off. It creates such thick bonded supports and nests (unlike other programs). Any tips or settings you can share for "supports settings" using a CubeX duo mod? Thanks.
W 5 That is one thing I can not figure out. Kisslicer always fuses the supports to the object. I hear that. some people use mesh maker supports then use kisslicer but I have not looked into that
Figured it out! There is a check box under supports slider that reads SOLID. Remove the check. Turn that off! It makes support basket solid to your model to dissolve if you use dual filaments. If using single filament types, removing this check allows them to EASILY snap off.
I could not check the "include comments" box as it was greyed out but kept going got the errors on save of object and then when in G code the 2 sections are also greyed out. Please help Thanks

I understand that that v6.05 is available but so far 4.91 has been the most stable. I will soon make a video with Cubeit Mod 6.05 but for now I show people a stable version of Kisslicer and cubeit mod so they can Print ASAP.
Thanks Rubixz CubeX. Your vid made the initial setup much easier. When I saw Giovanni's Post regarding using v6.05, installation was pretty simple. I saw KSv6.05 on "Talk Forums", but couldn't find the right download, his link here works fine. Thanks Giovanni. When I knocked off v4.91, and installed v6.05, it installed a bit differently. The correct command prompt automatically populates, as well as the two GCode Entries. However, there are a couple of empty entries. Do those need to be filled in with some other GCode (as in 4.91)? If anybody is doing this mod, and you don't want to mess with filament clearance issues (i.e. adjusting your non-adjustable rollers), just email Ron Leung at Just Filaments: www.justfilaments.com/ Ron has 1.6mm filament at great prices.
