Was vor rund 10 Jahren als Live-Looping-Projekt begann, hat sich über die Jahre zu einem komplexen Setup aus Soft- und Hardware-Komponenten entwickelt.
Lineout Kistenfreestyle - Baker und Taper - nutzen Samples, Synths und Effekte, um einen Sound zu kreieren, der von meditativ minimal bis aggressiven acid, downtempo, ambient, hiphop, tech-house reichen kann.
Kann!...denn was letztendlich bei einer Session entsteht, ist nicht vorhersehbar, komplett "freestyle-from-the-top-of-the-head". Am Anfang steht dabei immer ein leeres Projekt, nacheinander füllen sich Takte mit Beats und Bässen, Flächen und Files, Klängen und Kompositionen.
What began around 10 years ago as a live looping project has developed over the years into a complex setup of software and hardware components.
Lineout Kistenfreestyle - Baker and Taper - use samples, synths and effects to create a sound that can range from meditatively minimal to aggressive acid, downtempo, ambient, hiphop, tech-house.
"Can", because what ultimately emerges from a session is unpredictable, completely freestyle-from-the-top-of-the-head. At the beginning there is always an empty project, one after the other bars are filled with beats and basses, pads and files, sounds and compositions.
