this movie is so magical and romantic!!! i liked it so much. i think i liked it even more than the cartoon "Cinderella", 'cause the first one is more opened in philosophical meanings. but all of it is charming because based on a classical and eternal story.

Принц, нет уже Король не доверял эрцгерцогу и прискакал на коне сам к дому, где по коварному сговору мачехи и эрцгерцога взаперти на чердаке находилась его возлюбленная. О боже как светились их глаза, без слов было понятно, что они не могут жить друг без друга и на все готовы ради любви.

She would have looked much better in a mermaid dress. That blue dress was so wide, too much dress. You could hardly tell she had a figure.

No…. I absolutely adore that they gave her a Victorian silhouette. And all the gorgeous petticoat layers! It made it look like she was floating on clouds. And the way the dress moved when she danced and when she run! A mermaid cut dress never would’ve had that fairytale magic. It also would’ve looked way too modern in that 18th century/mid Victorian aesthetic the movie has.
