I always enjoy cleaning out my pantry but it’s such a hard job. 😮❤ I just throw my expired food away in the trash can because I don’t want to change me or anyone else getting sick. 😢 I always enjoy leaving you a comment in the comment section and communicating with you. ❤ I’m so glad you were able to take the time out of your weekend to organize your pantry that needed it for a while. Hi Robin! Just a suggestion for your clear storage containers holding your big bag of chips is to put a serving size of chips into smaller Ziplock/Glad storage bags. Not only will it utilize the space but keep the chip intake under control! Great job on your pantry!

Wonderful containers. Yes I store my rice in a container. Just bought some expandable spice racks and got that cabinet done! Need to organize my pull out pantry drawers now.

Great clean and declutter video Robin. When we can’t find a chip clip we use those large or medium office clips. I label my glass or plastic containers with expiration dates on the bottom of the container. My sister in law used one of those individual dairy creamers and it clabbered in her coffee, I had put them in another container without the expiration date and they had spoiled. 🤦‍♀ Thankfully she didn’t drink any coffee but noticed it. Everything looks great Robin. 😊❤😊

I throw away expired food. ✨ I store my rice in the box it came in and just tape across the opening until I get a real pantry. ✨ I am still here! 💕 I like the glass containers you used in this video. ✨I like the before and afters for these kind of videos. Great job Robin! Looks great! ✨

Oh Robin, I love Grandma's dish and measuring cup and I love the glass measuring cups you found. I keep my rice in a container. I just started keeping my flax seeds, etc in the refrigerator as I read it keeps them from molding. I usually throw away anything that is expired BUT, I have recently learned that the expiration date may not be the true "throw away date". I don't think a food bank would take expired items. I think you need to do what you feel best with. Especially when feeding the kids. Have a great week. Wonderful video.

Oh! Those coffee mug holders are genius - just added them to my Amazon cart. I also absolutely adore Derek,'s grandma's glass storage dish and measure cup. They are just darling! 😍

That square clear dish from Derek’s grandmother is called a refrigerator dish. They came square or rectangular. For rice, I have a Tupperware cereal container. David was raised on rice so we always have a lot. I sneak some brown in on him every once in a while.

i loved the sound of the rain falling. Thank you for that added clip. I keep my 25 lb. bag of Jasmine rice from Sam's in my bigger pantry and put a small amount in a rubbermaid container. The only thing about taking it out of the original package is having the recipe of how to make the rice handy. I finally had to write my water to rice ratio on the rubbermaid containter because I had to keep going to my other pantry to look at the big bag of rice.😂

Oh I do love how your cabinets turned out. They look beautifully 😍... ❤❤❤.... I usually throw in away any expired food. I feel that if I won't be eat it I shouldn't make someone else eat it. I wouldn't want anyone to eat get sick.... Also, I store my rice in a plastic container. I bought containers from Amazon and I store all my dry foods in them. I don't have a pantry so we made a closet in the hallway as our pantry. We put shelves on them and I use all those containers in there. And for the chips I got some baskets from Home Goods and I store all the bags there. Those are at the bottom of that closet/pantry 😊..... This was so very motivating to watch. Hi Robin. I use lock n lock containers from QVC. They are air tight so things stay fresher longer. They stack so it's a win win. They take up so much less room than the bulky packaging. Just a thought but they work great for me. ❤

Hi Robin. Those items from Derricks Grandmother are so precious. I would definitely display them. You could add a little greenery to the measuring cup one and display it. As for the expired food, if I wouldn't feed it to my family I am not going to feed it to someone else. Currently my rice is just in its original box, but as my family likes to say, I love to put stuff in other containers for no real reason. lol You could put your honey packets in your "honey" container and then you might be able to put the other two cups you use for your overnight oats.

I put rice and nuts in the refrigerator because after living in the south for a few years we found the rice would get bugs left in the cupboard...also nuts will spoil and not last for long if you don't refrigerate them....😀

I use clothes pins for chips - clip them to the pantry rack when nit in use!😅

Hi Robin! I just love decluttering videos. We have snacks in our cupboards. One door for cooking and one for baking. The rest is dishware and glassware. I have a nice size pantry that I reorganize every 3 months so it's rare have expired items. Anyway, you really cleaned up my friend. Those cupboards look amazing!❤

You’re so lucky to have large cabinets, I use similar lazy Susans in my cabinets for spices, oils, pretty much everything I have in my single width cabinets. You can keep creamers on shelf but they do have a shorter expiration date so be careful. Chip bags are in my laundry room. I’ve hung a 3 shelf unit on my door to take care of all the flour, sugar, nuts, rice in lock n lock containers similar to your cereal one (QVC shopper here). We’ve had sun and snow here in CT but before that about 2 weeks of grey and rain so I sympathize for the wetness. Have a great week💕 I’ll be anxious to see your overnight oats recipe, I’ve been wanting to try but not sure what to put in them that I like.

I use cereal keepers, I also have a basket on top of my refrigerator, I put them in,we are also empty nesters,my husband is the big chip eater,I've been watching you a short time, but enjoy your videos

Great job organizing Robin I use a plastic storage container for my rice it’s similar to yours. I throw away expired food our food pantry doesn’t accept it. If it’s not to far expired and depending on what it is I will use it. Thanks for all the great tips 💕

Hi Robin, cabinet looks great! That glass container that holds the splenda I have the same one. The glass containers for your oats I just got similar ones with a handle and spout for laundry detergent and softener. Got them from Amazon. Started spring cleaning, feels good when jobs are completed. Have a wonderful week!

We eat a lot of rice...keep it in a glass container on my counter top. Also with my grits and oatmeal in glass containers.

When I put foods into other containers, I always clip off the directions Abbas keep inside the container on top. I also clip off the expiration date and tape to the bottom of the container.

The cup hungers must be outsisde the cabinet to easy access the cups

I throw it away if it’s expired. If it isn’t good enough for me then I will not give them to anyone else. That is just my opinion. I guess just use your own judgement
