Just love this methodical wave cleaning. I am mak8ng this comment mainly for myself to note the method. I’m binging on Clean My Space and these notes will help me recall this technique until I’ve used it enough to have it down pat. Clean in 3 waves-starting from the fridge and moving around the room counterclockwise Wave 1 Declutter- garbage, recycle, dirty dishes to dishwasher. Then load DW and wash up hand wash items Wave 2 Cleaning- again moving thru the kitchen left to right, wiping from top to bottom, moving items to the left side avoiding already clean surfaces Wave 3 Sink, floors, garbage- clean sink, weep and mop, take out garbage & recycle Thank you, Melissa, for all the great vids,
I really love these clean with me videos! Any task gets more enjoyable when you do it with somebody else, so I feel like we are cleaning our kitchens together :) It gets me super motivated :)
This gave me the inspiration to clean my kitchen! It's TINY (maybe a third the size of yours!) which means it gets SO messy SO quickly. But after an hour of scrubbing and finding new places for things, I'm so glad I did it! The cleaning routine videos are my favorite, because they light a fire for me to go do the same!

I love your kitchen, there is so much space for everything! I have never ever cleaned my kitchen cabinets all at once like this, the inside of the cabinets get cleaned on an as needed basis but this is brilliant, if you do this once or twice a year you are extending the life of your cabinets and this video has inspired me to do it! I have watched many other youtuber’s cleaning/organizing videos, but I found yours are much more appealing and feasible, and encouraging and inspirational.
Enjoyed seeing your 3 step method! I like the left to right so you're not all over the place and being inefficient. A side note: I sweep and mop after emptying the trash and recycle bins...based on past experience where the bag ripped and messed up my clean floor, or something dripped dripped dripped on the way out to the trash. Thanks for the good stuff!
I have spent the last four days cleaning solidly from morning until night and the job is not finished 😱😤😭. I have just taken possession of a house I rented out 3 years ago. Some areas aren’t too bad but some look like they have never been cleaned including a toilet bowl completely covered in lime scale and stains. I finally managed to remove lime scale off the shower glass with vinegar and a glass blade scraper. It is a nightmare and I am so glad I found your channel xxxx
I love your clean with me videos. I just cleaned my kitchen the way you suggested and it really helped! it wasn't nearly as overwhelming. I started closest to my pantry (kind of where your fridge is) and worked my way to the sink. then did the island.
I'd love to see how you clean inside door frames. Especially outside doors, between the door and screen door. They get so cruddy so fast and are hard to keep clean. Love your videos and your channel!! Thanks for always motivating me!
Here's a couple of tips to help your floors (any) dry faster so you can get on with it. 1. Turn on a ceiling fan so the air is flowing downward. 2. Meanwhile, dry the floor using a microfiber cloth (or any other type if you don't have these); on a swifter type mop or any mop you can secure it on. These little extra steps really work great !
Hey Canada Girl. I'm a MN girl so we are close to each other! We have terrible weather here now. My suggestion to you is to sweep before you hand wash or clean anything. If you drip water on the floor, sweeping up is harder. Always easier to sweep a dry floor - that's what I walkways say. ✌️
Love it! It's how I do it too, and it seriously isn't that much work but it makes all the difference. I love your kitchen, hope to have one so organized one day
The car! Empty the car of the clutter. Clean the inside. And wash the outside. It's spring so it's a good time to do that. And washing the car at home is so much cheaper than a car wash! Awesome series! Totally love it!
It would be a lot easier if I didn't get so sidetracked! I would check my phone, eat a snack, go outside for the mail, etc etc. and then it seems like it takes 2 hours to clean the kitchen. I should set a timer for 30 minutes next time!

Example Which chores to do daily, weekly, monthly, every 4-6months or yearly. It'll be very handy for wife and mother of 4.Thanks your videos have been very helpful to me.

Without a dishwasher to put away dishes, 30 minutes takes an hour, maybe 2, 3...also throw in checking my phone, watching netflix, a dance break if my favorite song comes on spotify lol

i have the same mop lol i love your videos it has made cleaning my house so much easier thanks for all the helpful tips and trick they really have helped me a lot especially with having two kids
What do think of steam mops? Do they work? I use swifter wet jet for my tile. My wood floors I use "Quick and Shine" with a microfiber mop. Grout is something I need to tackle on all the tile floors and of course the Spring cleaning of windows and blinds.
here in Norway we have something called "magic eraser", it is a white sponge. It does magic with the kitchen sink, makes it all clean and super shiny,,without soap, and also great for the shower cabinet and for any difficault spots. Maybe you can try that and make a video?
Mellisa's house is the only place that I would willingly stay 😄 Being a slight mysophobe, I always find it difficult to stay over at a friend's house, cz well not everyone is clean and hygienic.
