My friend attempted this and it came out amazing. However, over a period of about 8 months it gradually started to become worn down and eventually she just replaced it, as the original countertop was showing through in spots. It did look nice at first but it just didn’t seem to work for her. Hopefully, this works out!! Could have been a different brand of product, not sure. Hope this works out for Liz!! It sure is a great inexpensive way to get a nicer look on a countertop. Thanks for the inspiration, Liz and showing us if we have a lil patience we can accomplish anything! 😊

I've seen these in real life - it doesn't look bad - it's definitely not marble but is a serious improvement over boring brown laminate. I would totally do this if I didn't have 4" tiles with 1" grout lines 😑. I imagine I'd have to smooth all that out? Curious how long term this is. Looks great! 👍
