I live in a face paced household. I find your lovely videos a chance for me to slow down and watch someone go through their different routines with care and in the moment. When I find myself standing up at the table grabbing a quick bite to eat before I rush out to take someone to basketball practice or go to a meeting I remember the care you put into making your dinner and setting your table. Great job recycling your existing rack shelves by halving them. You saved some landfill! Your shelves in the kitchen were a Cinderella fit, I held my breath! They look wonderful displaying your cookware. And I bet it’s satisfying to look at all your organized plates. Thank you for yet another wonderful video! Nami👋🏽 I am always amazed how you put together furniture effortlessly all by yourself…I have two of the IKEA Billy Bookshelves in my craft room and it took my son-in-law and two grandchildren hours to put it together…you did a fabulous job on the kitchen…also recycling the long table to make it fit your new space…and I love it. I like Nami's "simple" meal. Simply gather 27 different ingredients, start chopping vegetables, make a soup stock, crack some eggs, get your seasonings in there...Nothing to it. :)
I have the same idea in my kitchen (a bookshelf for additional storage)! We also chose to use larger items so it looks cleaner. I suggest only keeping things that you use frequently there - the openness of the shelf will cause it to get dustier/dirtier more quickly than other shelving in the kitchen
It is such a joy to see how you are able to overcome and adapt if situations change. You show that even if things are not perfect or as expected it is OK. The imperfections are what give it true beauty.

Brussels Sprouts and bacon pair together really well, so that was a great idea! Over here in UK everybody has sprouts, bacon (pancetta) and chestnuts together as a side dish. Roasted sprouts are supposed to be tasty too but I'm yet to try them! 😋
Hello Nami-san. You might want to put your heavier pots on the bottom shelf of your bookcase because the shelves aren't that strong (and will bend). Congratulations on your new place!

Always love seeing a new update to relax to ❤ Another tasty way of eating Brussels sprouts: cut in half, coat in oil, balsamic, garlic powder, salt and pepper then roast cut side down at 350F until tender and slightly browned and caramelized. You can add other seasonings to the marinade too but this basic sauce is a good base.
I enjoyed the video! For the Billy bookcase, I can recommend buying those doors with glass in them. That way, your kitchenware will not get dusty while on display. In those cabinets without doors, everything gets dusty very fast, and with kitchenware, this means you will have to wash them before use - which is not practical. Best of luck! I love your organisation videos, Nami :) I had actually planned to do some of my own today, but it was over 30 degrees here in Sydney today and about 37 in the house 🥵 Those wonderful Billy bookcases! I've assembled a few in my time 😜 I recently came across a channel called "Proper DIY" with an episode where he assembled a Billy, and made a couple of improvements to improve the strength. Oh, I advise getting a small pair of multi-grips. They're indispensable for many things, from opening really stubborn jars to opening carbonated plastic drink bottles that are refusing to open. 😀
Świetny pomysł na danie drugiego życia regałowi :) Dzięki Tobie czuję się zainspirowana i szukam stojaka na talerze gdyż mam ich dużo i zahaczają mi one o szafki. Wygląda wspaniale regał który składałaś do kuchni i widać jak idealnie pasuję po dokładnym go wymierzeniu. Widać jak bardzo sprawnie idzie składanie mebli :)
