Mr Carrington know your busy but if can find time could you give a tutorial on using the tools, I've picked up a drill and jigsaw and not sure how to use them, know others on RU-vid show tips but enjoy your videos , love make over especially the tiles & how you don't do everything at once as that's how I work 😅

I like it very much. Scraping that paint off the concrete and painting the tile took a lot of patience but so worth it. Love the crates and mug rack in that space. It really did make over the room without spending a fortune. I have all the supplies to redo my bathroom. No reno just paint, new rugs, towels, shower curtain, artwork and accesories. Hope it turns out as nice as your kitchen did. Well done!♥️🔨👍😊

Great job! I would maybe go with a bit of silicone around the countertops, just where they meet with the tiles. I'm worried that the heavy paint coat may chip there. But overall the kitchen looks amazing!

With the crates. You don't want to cover your air brick. It can cause damp and mould over time

When you started to paint the blue tile, I was like oh no, I love the blue tiles. After seeing the end result with the white, I could understand why you did it. A lovely looking kitchen and all you touches where great. A good job, love it and you showed what you can do with some simple ideas of decorating.

Looks great hun well done, one small tip, get some watered down pea (or matt mod podge) and seal in the open plaster otherwise you run the risk of making it blow with the heat and steam in the kitchen, especially as it already has the crack in it. Also I do love the beard, you looked so different without it, I had forgotten what you looked like!!!

I like the idea for the crate storage and reusing old ones, good idea; a bit concerned that you covered up a vent, looks like a heat vent or return. Only thing that bothers me is storing cups too close to the floor with what's tracked in on your shoes. But good job through.

Well done, kitchens are a huge job! I painted our tiles a few years ago from brown to white 😯 I used tile primer and 2 coats of tile paint, really good finish. Your kitchen looks fab, especially the shutters and hanging plants👍 My husband is concerned that as you haven't sealed the plaster wall it will suck up the moisture and become damp though 🤷‍♀️

Wow, the difference is amazing. It looks so bright and airy now. The up cycling of the crates etc is a great idea and adds some useful storage. Overall it’s a great makeover. 👍 We once painted over some hideous brown tiles in the bathroom , I remember it wasn’t much fun......lol. 🤪

Love it so much brighter we painted tiles in my daughters house it drove my usually calm husband crazy it did look nice in end he also painted the brown upvc door with that all purpose paint as it opens into kitchen and it worked well ! And yes I didn’t notice size of tin either when I ordered it online either

Great job! I like that you’re not afraid to try something, like exposing the concrete. The crate storage, along with the mug shelves, is inspired! One thought: Perhaps use blue painters tape instead of masking tape next time. It’s made to peel off easier and leave a cleaner edge. This is a suggestion, not a criticism!

Mr C well done indeed it loves lovely and modern now. The blue tiles dated it before. Love the crate shelving and the light is so much nicer too. The exposed concrete wall adds a dimension.
