David said he wanted to "dance on Gordon's grave." One year later, Gordon was chowing down at the restaurant that replaced his. In effect, Gordon was dancing on David's grave instead.
Amy was just a physco who couldn't take any criticism. A big problem on her part was she is hot headed and that she took any kind of criticism as a personal attack to bring her down. She thought everyone was out to get her
It may be a simple bbq place, but so long as they aren't using frozen foods, aren't using the microwave (at least not to cook) and even understand the basics of flavoring Gordon won't have any problems.
I would have sued his ass after that he didnt own thank thank nore did he buy the lobsters in it David allowed his ego to get the best of him Greg was the only partner that really loved his job the other 2 owners they didn't care all they wanted was money and it showed
@@Fleeto2006 Actually it's a pretty smart long-term investment for the restaurant and it just makes it a little unique compered to the nearby restaurants.
@@TONIjade_xxIf he could convince the stubborn owners that their food was trash by letting the locals do a taste test vs his own dishes, he might actually have a good chance for the owners to not be soo arrogant and actually work with him
It's because there are no expectations. Flirt with someone who thinks you're actually hitting on them, especially if they're a young woman, and you can get into trouble.
Chef Ramsey just learned not to ask questions he doesn't want the answer to. And I wouldn't be surprised if he actually kept in contact with Steven to see how he's doing. He's the only person I've seen him genuinely like.
So sweet seeing Gordon flustered, haha. He actually didn't know how to reply to Steven. Should've given him a job though, Steven's funny, pleasant and hard working. Or maybe Gordon did off camera. Both deserve the best in life, bless!
Damn glad David is no longer a restaurant owner. He drove that whole Black Pearl into the shit pile. He doomed himself and blaming Chef Ramsay by saying he's wrong. "Arrogance" does not begin to describe him, more like a closeted creep who won't admit to himself of his wrongdoing. Could HE have been behind Amy's Baking Company all along? Amy and her husband Sammy are probably just the figureheads.
never saw a person as obnoxious as David...he asks for help, the person tells him "here, this is whats wrong" and fixes it for him AND HE HAS THE NERVE TO GET MAD.. what a lunatic...! poor employees, I guess all their checks bounced... hope they all found good jobs!
In my opinion David was just the version of Amy from Amy's baking company not wanting help my question why did call Gordon if he just going fight him the whole way I mean he was so arrogant towards Gordon and his employees that he didn't deserve be a GM and running a restaurant I felt bad for rest of the employees that worked there I hope rest of the people that worked with him gotten other jobs they deserve it.
@Gustavos Revenge Listen fucking boomer ass trash you're a nobody watching kitchen nightmares clips all day coz u got nothing better to do and you find the face to check the comment section and be a bitch about people being cheeky? Fuck off, really do fuck off.
The reality is that by the time Gordon comes onto the scene, these are already dead restaurants walking. Even with improvement, they will still need to overcome years of giving people bad impressions - and even if business booms, it might not boom enough to overcome their existing debts. If Gordon turns you around so that you're pulling a five hundred dollar profit, but servicing your debt needs eight hundred, you're still in trouble.
Put some weight on and are you dating is what a concerned parent says to his child. He basically often takes a fatherly role with the waiter staff. Unless its a buxom black girl oh mama
I mean, they knew GR was going to visit. Probably closed it down for the hour or so he would be there so there wouldn't be a scene or issues with filming.
Well from the looks of things it's probably around midday or even a bit earlier. Like you're not going to get many customers around that time unless you are a café or something.
Steve seems really sweet. I feel sorta bad for Greg, but honestly after seeing how David acted when receiving advice from one of the most successful chefs of all time, he should have either had a serious talk with him or found a way to cut ties. You gotta have a backbone if you're gonna be a leader.
Chris Saravia to keep in touch with the restaurant status seen as the black pearl owner was a huge jackass. The owners of the new restaurant could have closed the restaurant for the few hours that Gordon was there
I think he shows up on off hours so it's not busy when he shows up. I do that sometimes when I want a quiet meal. Show up right after it opens or for a late lunch.
Kinda an update After further research, I found that the restaurant has permanently closed, two years before this video came out, closed in 2008. Several food reporters have said that it was Gordon Ramsey's fault. However, that is up to you to decide.
"Gordon Ramsay makes slight adjustments to smoothly run restaurants" isn't a great TV concept. Kitchen Nightmares is about restaurants that are already in free fall. Their TV appearance is their hail mary. Sometimes it works out but most of the time it's already way too late.
Gordon and Steven talking and Gordon and David talking (David was the young cook on Hotel Hell when Gordon went to save a hotel somewhere in New Mexico) is so fantastic. Gordon is a great guy when it comes down to it.
