You should put the oven mits, cookin utensils, and measuring spoons on the right/left side of the stove in the top thin drawer! That way you have all your cooking utensils right by you when you are at the stove!

I wish people wouldn't make such a huge issue over a "messy" house. Clearly some people have never lived alone, worked for a living and wanted to have some kind of social life afterwards. 😒 People make messes. You're house is absolutely gorgeous!!! Loving the Christmas 🎄 and the decor. I live for organizational videos 🤭 honestly seeing the before makes me feel better, knowing that MOST PEOPLE live like this before we get on our organized game. Now if my kids would join in that would be great!😅 Love you Tara, never thought I'd care about a vlogger but you and Jilly are by far my favorites to watch. You're friendship is amazing and both of you are amazing people. Im glad to see you found someone, especially one that's been in you're life before all the RU-vid videos. Yup just add some felt to the bottom so they don't scratch your tables and you're good to go. The sticky felt squares ment for tables hair legs would work great.

The kitchen looks great! Don't worry about having too much storage, only worry if you don't have enough. Brady is so cute. Something new for her, she was excited for sure! I love her, adorable

Some tips for organization of kitchens! 1. Store things where you're likely going to use them. EX; Colander in a drawer by the sink to rinse vegetables or pans next to the stove to fry. 2. If you don't have that much stuff, keep it together to avoid running around (if it doesn't effect nr 1). 3. Keep things in categories to find them easily.

You can press the brew button on the espresso a second time after it’s done and top up your coffee! Then press it when you think it’s done. We get way more out of our pods that way!

I store the lids of my pots in a wooden organizer from ikea that is actually meant for plates. it stores the lids upright and looks very neat

As far as under the sink, I would also recommend some kind of mat. We had a slow leak we never noticed and it ruined the wood under ours 😩 it was never something I thought of until I needed it lol

As far as the manuals go - keep the manuals for any appliance that will stay in that house when you eventually sell it. Get a binder, put them in the plastic sleeves, and put it in your crawl space. This way when you sell the home, the buyers will have all the manuals for all the appliances

QUESTION: When you have your morning advent coffee, every morning you say you don't like black coffee (I agree) but then you put the trader joes creamer in and love it, with each coffee every day being different, after you put the creamer in does the coffee taste different from previous days or does the taste of the creamer over power the coffee taste-making every coffee so good cuz it tastes the same? just so curious, I love your videos ❤️

I’ve had the blueberry lavender milk and it’s so strong that it overpowers any taste of anything else. I even tried only using like a tablespoon and it still tasted like the milk 😅

heey Tara, If you go to Dollarama, they have the bamboo drawer organizers and they work great for the chip clips and measuring cups/ spoons .. i love the bamboo organizers/ dividers.. also bed bath and beyond has nice big ones .. i believe ikea does too. so glad the drawers are organized, makes for a peaceful mind ! love watching your videos, hopefully ill run into you one day.. im more north in Orillia though. have a merry christmas !

I’ve just bought a home with all the appliances still in and I found it really helpful that we had all the manuals! Couldn’t find any of them online and then found the manuals in a draw it was a godsend

your drawers will fill up throughout the years! you'll probably end up with a nice collection of holiday/seasonal kitchen towels and nice plates. also idk if you have a lot of baking supplies but thatll def take up some of space

Oh, I love your house!!! I would love to see the living room wall without the art and have a super thin soft wood console underneath some sort of circular art piece on the wall. Also, the gallery wall in the office replaced with some sort of see-through art. Love love love the house though!

you could use the countertop and tile samples as coasters and they'll remind you of the reno (the good stuff of it obvs lol) also, you could keep the manuals and warranties in a drawer or in a folder (inside a drawer) since you have storage, you might need them if the appliances go funky

When I had finally the chance of having a big kitchen, I used a big drawer to put everything to bake dessert (flour, sugar, etc). I find it soooooo helpful! Since then I changed house but redid the baker drawer 😝

For the manuals I would suggest putting them in a folder for a year or so. This way you have them and warranty information. Along with cleaning information. Or put them in a home book.

I recommend standing Tupperware lids vertically by size so you can leaf through them kinda like a book… that way they don’t end up sliding around with big ones covering small ones. I haaaaate fishing around for matching Tupperware lids 😩

@@imtaramichelle Since you have the luxury of space, a tip you might try is to store the tupperware with all the lids on. That way you reach for a container and don't have to ever search for a lid.

I would keep all the manuals and warranties for different appliances and electronics, etc. in a binder to keep in the event you sell your house it’s all in one place for the next owner.
