It is not easy to clean as I literally have been trying so hard to get the black part of the lid off! I chopped some garlic and it’s literally stuck between the black and clear part of the lid. Have not found one single helpful video on here to help me figure it out.
@@ammasdtr19 I tried doing it gently first because kitchen aids video made it seem so easy but eventually had to used my full force and it still won’t come off. I’m scared to ask my boyfriend to because it might just snap off in pieces. The part where you press down to chop on the lid is where you’d tuck your finger under to pop up but it won’t budge not even a little
@@minniebomb I just received the one I ordered and I am also afraid to break it. Really like it as a chopper though. I'll let you know if I figure it out.
@@ammasdtr19 likewise! Its just gross cause I chopped some garlic in there and there’s tiny bits of garlic stuck under the black part. I had to let the water run through it and shake it but that’s such a waste of water and time
I have the same problem I can not get that black ring off the lid I saw the kitchen aid video they took so easy mine is not easy I’m afraid to break it I hand wash lid but in between is still not cleaned it’s a pain should not be this difficult
I’ve been meaning to get this chopper (along with a full size food processor) by KitchenAid (or maybe Cuisinart) since I have 2 Stand Mixers, 1 Hand Mixer (5 Speed) & a Coffee Maker (Discontinued).
@funcookingwithknox734 I have received it and it is reeeeeeeally great. It is so much quieter than my old Black and Decker one that bit the dust after over 10 years. Thank you very, very much for your reply. What a wonderful, joyful surprise it was! Much love and light to you and yours always from the beautiful east coast of Canada. 🕊🇨🇦🕊
@bbgirl6741 I don't know what you mean by a rung on the lid. I've had no problem cleaning my lid. My lid doesnt come apart. I've even washed it in the dishwasher. If I'm washing it in the sink, I dooo have to use a dish cloth to get into the round crevice on the bottom of the lid if I've used the chopper to shred cheese, then I rinse it really well with hot water. I sure hope this helps you. If I can help further, please let me know. All the best to you and yours.
Can anyone tell me how long the cord is? The outlets in my kitchen are not too terribly convenient, so I need at least 2 feet of cord. Thank you for any info!
Too much time spent on unboxing. No one cares about packaging. No demonstration of the puree function. Didn't really need to see three different vegetables being chopped. If you want to have a longer video, making a sauce would have been informative too. Or, since it's a mini, show how it looked beside other of your appliances. Trying to be helpful, not critical.
