There's an adjustment screw that can be turned to allow more flame on each burner. Consult repair clinic and the video on frigidaire gas range. It's a long vid but he shows the adjustment screws which raise the flame level.
My top oven was not heating and after hours of diy troubleshooting I thought it might be either both igniters, bake & broil , for $50 each or the control panel for $360. I called a guy, who knew a guy and he said a: the broiler only works when the oven door is closed (whew!) b: it's not the control panel (even if it was it is warranted for 5 years (whew, again). Reader's Digest version: new igniter for the bake portion. Called the place where I bought it and they sent me a new igniter for free (whew-3). There were a couple of glitches because of wire length between old & new but they gave you everything for the fix. Still love the oven, great bang for the buck without going to a Garland or something similar.
we have the same stove, after a few years the gas valves started giving problems with locking up....replacements are over 100.00 each. So after 9 years we have had to replace 5...so that 500.00 in parts in 9 years......my suggestion is buy something else.
I just got this model. Made yeast bread rolls. They browned on top but not on bottom, and were doughy inside . At 14 mins at 375 , as recipe said. What is wrong.
We just purchased the duel-fuel version of this range (gas burners, electric ovens (2).)... not installed yet, though. Has anyone tried using a full-range sized griddle on this unit? I'm referring to one of those large steel griddles that cover the entire cook area, sitting on the grates. Any luck using one on the KitchenAid units like this?
1 timer on a double oven! Stainless around burns scratch when just touching it! replaced a few ignitors after 5 years! I would never buy this over and the convection microwave rated at 1000 watts is a joke more like 700.
The griddle doesn't go there. It's supposed to be placed on the right side over 2 burners. The center oval burner is for oblong pans. Consult your manual!

Oh man! I've had this unit for nearly 4 years and I always put the griddle in the center and hated that it didn't get as hot as I wanted. Manuals? We don't need to read no stinking manuals.
Great, still love it. Highly reccomend for astethics and functionality. Still stays hot for a while would be the only slight downfall. We have been using it more frequently with home chef and it does get a bit dirty, but what oven doesn't. All in all till highly reccomend it
Does anyone read these comments? Would like some answers. THIS MODEL IS DANGEROUS. The knobs placed on front turn on too easily when leaned on, as in cleaning the microwave. 3 times it turned on when accidently cleaning the MW.
What’s the model number for this particular stove, pls? I’m having problems with the bottom part-but cannot order part of I don’t have the serial number. THAT THE person that tried to fix it, couldn’t find-and neither could we find it in the stove 😩
