This sport has been the best thing that has happened to me. Surfed 20' waves. Kited in hurricanes and even put camping gear on my back and kited to Islands so far away, when you got in-between the lands the land disappeared out of sight for 30 minutes. But the best part, the friendships along the way. The best sport period
@@cellocovers3982 The wind was sill around for the return trip three days later. But it did change directions. I returned to the main land at a unplanned location. I ended up at a very tiny public park. As wide as the kite lines.
I just startet learing it. Now i just made my license in level 4. It is such an amazing feeling even if you are just a beginner like me. And everyone i met who is into Kiteboarding is totally nice and supportive. I really like the sport.
I see the people attached to what looks like a wakeboard, and I see people who look to be basically surfing with a kite, unattached to the surfboard. What is each one called, and what are the biggest similarities and differences between them? Thanks!
The wakeboard style are twin-tip boards and the surfboard style are kitesurf/ wave kite boards. Then the ones that glide above the water are foil boards. They are just different styles of boards which is preference of the rider and conditions.
Dear I am Ishan from India and my wife resides in Texas, USA. I am a paramotoring pilot and I am visiting Texas in this December. I wish to purchase a full kitesurfing kit, kite, board, control bar, lines, pump etc . I also wish to do training with an instructor. Please let me know if I can undergo training in the period (10 Dec 21 -24 Dec 21). how are the winds going to be at that time??? Looking forward for a prompt response.

They are foil boards, they have a foil (wing) under the water that glides through the water with less drag than the board being in the water. These are the fastest boards you can get,and can also turn faster.
