This is nostalgia, I remember watching this when I was younger... time flies. I remember coming home from school and watching stuff like this on youtube. I miss those days.
As a fan of both of your source materials I gotta say I love this... the "I beg your pardon?" when Christine first hits KITT was a really great touch.. even fits the humour of the show..
That 'tear apart' theory is nice. But if you remember the movie, the crush Christine into a cube. Even then it started repairing itself. you're talking about an AI car vs one possessed by a demon soul (or an evil one anyways.) When KITT is destroyed he has to be rebuilt, When Christine is destroyed it takes a few minutes to restore itself.
Lets face it this would have been a no score draw because while kitt is nearly invincible christine can self regenerate so any damage she suffers is only of consequence for that moment, and it has to be said that in the long run christine will be the winner because she doesn't need humans to repair her or spare parts. Kitt verses "The Car" would be interesting since they are both basically indestructible.
Very clever use of the old, original background music from the tv series of Knight Rider,... incredibly well done,.. I was about to write this off as another rubbish computer animated short done cheaply from the still screen on my reciommendations,.. but I was pleasantly suprised!!! Ext5remely well done!! 5 stars!!!

You know, there was a lot of posts over at Knight Rider Online a long time ago that discussed what might happen in a battle between KIT and Christine. Seeing this brings those posts back to my mind. Good job. :D
yeah... i only remember the one with beg teeth (its been over a decade since i saw it. and 'Duel' is another kick-ass "omg this truck is stalking me" movie. ahhh... Pre-Transformers..

There were for sure a few different Knight Rider video games released in the 80's. I had two different knight rider games for my commodore 64 back then. I don't know about Christine video games though.. There might have been.
I love it. However what about K.I.T.T vs the Vampire Motorcycle. Hell there is so many evil car movies to choose from, The Car, Maximum Overdrive, Blood Car, let us see K.I.T.T beat them all up. :D
Pfft. Yeah right. Christine is possessed by a power that KITT doesn't have and will never have. Also, if Christine can regenerate herself, KITT would most likely get tired of her and just give up.
But if you've watched the Wraith movie, it allows ANY vehicle to crash into him and the victimized car runs off the road and ends up a wreck at the bottom of the hill. Just like Christine, Wraith can come back anytime. Both vehicles have the ability to keep coming back for more. Thats just the sci-fi part. But the Dodge Interceptor was an actual pace car at a race track.
This is an alternate ending to the movie Christine where she some how un cubes herself and and servives through the years, you know this will happen. This is Christine for god sake
@puppetmaster983 I'm saying according to the show, its the coating that made KITT so tough. There was an episode where someone splashed a chemical on it and nullified the coating, then this riot tank came and crum,pled KITT's door and hood.
More likely K.A.R.R. would join forces with Christine, in order to take down K.I.T.T. But in the end even K.A.R.R. would end up being possessed and utterly used by Christine, she's just that strong. Now I'm musing on KnightBoat.
@Calvin5040 Yes Plastic have you seen one of those Pontiacs that front end (bumper) is plastic OK maybe fiberglas but that is a form of plastic. Pontiac stopped making good cars in the late 60s early 70s They are known for interior noise like something is shaking. Besides that the firebird would be like a bug on Christines windshield.
