Since this was Ginger's first delivery and she hadn't come to her senses yet, we had to help her with the kittens. We gave the babies extra special bottle formula and also massaged their tummy to stimulate urination. After the cute kittens go through the procedures, they meow and squeak loudly in search of mom cat's warm tummy.

Do not feed kittens like human babies, lying on their backs. They can swallow milk into their lungs and become sick and die.
