Little Lili doesn’t like taking a bath but Dad let’s her know she is safe. As Lili grows older & the baths are part of her daily life she will get used to it.

I do not know why he is bothering bathing these short hair cats...they are constantly bathing themselves....it probably is not good for their hair...if she is worse after the first bath she is not getting used to it and is trying to say something. It's clear that Lili doesn't like being bathed. What you need is a second pair of hands on the job. Someone else needs to hold Lili still firmly and gently. That way, the task is accomplished more easily. Never squeeze her paws or tail, and never wrap the towel round her so tightly. That's what makes Lili resent being bathed all the more. In order to help Lili overcome her fear of being bathed, let her watch the warm water run before you wet her fur. All cats take an interest in running water, and Lili should be allowed to watch the water run at least 5 to 10 minutes so she gets used to the idea. When she feels comfortable, carefully wet her fur. The trick is to be slow and steady. When bath time is over, gently wrap the towel around Lili's body, not her head. Rub firmly and gently and Lili will relax. Praise her in a gentle tone and offer her a tidbit. It's a great way to help her become confident and comfortable, when being bathed.
