Claire's story is just so heartbreaking! She is such a strong woman to have saved her own life in that situation. I cant imagine the pain she felt when she realized her babies didn't make it. I'm so glad Lola ended up being okay.
im absolutely speechless after hearing that ladies plight,I hope she didn't blame herself she was giving those dogs their best life[re; photos] nobody no matter how responsible could predict this tragedy
Yeah, I'm really grateful the other people in the comments are being very kind and respectful (because there's always that one troll who likes to blame people for a complete unforeseeable accident 🙄). Seeing your comment reminded me that there are still good, sympathetic people out there. 🌻
Oh that precious baby kitten with the little tiny meows. I really like these twin sisters that work together as vets. How wonderful that would be. They didn't mention the infection on her back leg so I guess that healed up too. I'm so glad Misty made it through the surgery and she will go to a wonderful home.
That just had me in tears. I can only imagine how devastating it would be to go through a near death trauma and lose two of your beloved pets. So sad and heartbreaking.
I absolutely love Tim, you can tell he really cares about the menagerie of creatures in the reptile park; so it's pretty heartbreaking to see his reactions when one of his animals aren't doing well. Glad little Kenny got the care he needed ASAP and that his airways didn't close up. As much as I respect Bondi vet for showing us episodes that are more critical, I'm always happy to see episodes where all patients get to go home with a clear bill of health. PS. I (among pretty much everyone in the comment section) felt extremely bad for Lola's owner. I can't imagine losing a pet/pets like that without even a chance to say goodbye. Ugh, absolutely heartbreaking. But I am glad that Lola was okay and that she, Betsy and her owner have been able to carve out a happy and healthy life for themselves.
I know. I worked for a vet for 6 years and had to give it up because he was nothing like this and I couldn't stand to work for him anymore. I never worked for a vet again and never fully trusted vets after that.
Claire was on 2 other episodes I saw she had a Cat that had Asthma and was feared to be worse sick I think Scott managed to save Kitty and I also saw another where she and Scott helped her dog Betty give birth these were more recent than this one because Scott talked about this tragedy in the Cat video and she looked older in the dog one not sure though I mean there were no cats in that they may have been upstairs the cats were old I mean Claire is a friend of Scott and long time patient not sure in this not sure I can even watch this when she was getting the cat looked at they told this story of scruffy and sprout it was awful and its so sad in greater detail on this but I am glad she had happier times Betty had Pups later on
Holy hell. I lost it with Claire’s stout about her dogs at the beach. Lolas little sad face. I don’t think human or dog could get over that but I’m glad that Betty is helping x
@@chemicalplanet2509 thats awesome your lucky u have a vet in the family and positive vibes. I absolutely dig that. I wish ur sister best of luck on becoming a vet
That woman and her dog are so strange to have had then happened to them and come back fighting, I know when I had two small dogs when I was younger we lost one for unknow reason she was fine one moment then the next she was gone, but our other one he was not doing good he just sit there doing nothing, would not eat or anything we had to make him eat which I hate doing, so we did the same thing we got another dog in the hops it would help him and it did with in a couple of days he was eating by himself and getting up and about, I was crying at the start about her said story and then I was crying at the end at how happy she looked knowing her dog was fin and that her little puppy can first =) ALSO oh my god how cute are Wombats, don't mind me as I move to Australian and beg Tim to let me take a Wombat for a walk, but for real I love to work in a place like that, I maybe scared of Snack and spiders but I think it I learned to understand them more I won't be.
It's definitely heartbreaking to see animals grieve just like we do. My family had two tabby cats that were biological siblings (brother and sister), we had to put down the sister when she unexpectedly went into kidney failure. Her brother afterwards would roam the house, meowing, and looking in all her usual hiding places. He eventually got a little better, but he was never quite the same after that. He did get to go live with my older sister (who was their rightful owners, but she had to leave them behind for many years when she moved away from home) and her other cat, which lifted his spirits. Unfortunately she had to put him down in 2020, but he lived a long life and loved being around "his people".
The Shen sisters are so sweet besides being professional ofcourse . I really appreciate the way in which they are handling and analyzing the little kitten .
Of all the vets in this series, Dr Scott Miller is my favourite. He is a very empathetic person and when I see how he not only deals with his animal patients full of compassion, but also has a heart for the feelings of the owners, then I wish such a vet also for my cats and me. And the staff at the practices are so great too. I especially like the head nurse Emma. She is such a warm-hearted and also cheerful person with a heartfelt sense of humour and an amazing smile that makes the sun rise.
God Bless you young lady for surviving such a horrible disaster and pushed thru it. I am in such a state for the hugs I want to give you, but I'm in Arizona.
Kenny the wombat looked like me when I was 5 year-old. I found out I was allergic to guinea pigs and cedar chips. Same places swelled up on me and I had no idea what was going on! I thought my parents were going to lose their minds.
Poor Kenny😿 He looks like me when I have a bad allergy attack. He was even madly scratching away. So glad he could get help with the Anti- histamine. If nothing else, it can make him drowsy & let him sleep a bit so he's not so miserable.
Thank goodness Lola had a benign growth! Claire has been through so much, that would just have done her in. Love the baby kitten - and that it has it's own warmed incubator until it gets old enough. But my favorite has got to be Kenny. How could anyone not love that wombat face, and how he takes his bottle? Wombats are my new favorite animal - well, they are all my favorite but he is just so stinking cute! Love these - keep them coming please!!!!!
Omg the kitten is so cute I got a kitten last year but I had to find her a new home a couple days ago cuz she is beating up my 3.5pound chihuahua and she is a big cat she's a year old she's siamese and Himalayan she's a beautiful cat bright blue eyes I love her so much but she's hurt my chihuahua a few times and she is a tiny chihuahua but I'm happy a friend of mine is taking my cat witch my cats name is diva I nick named her DD stands for devil diva cuz she can be a diva one min then all of a sudden it's like a switch turns and she turns into a devil lol I have been told it's the breed but my mom and grandma have told me they raised siamese and siamese and Himalayan growing up and none of there cats where like diva but I'll still get to see her witch I'm happy about cuz I love her so much she goes to my friend on Thursday so it's going to be a very hard and sad day for me but I just keep telling myself she is going to a loving home where she will be loved and looked after and spoiled cuz my friend that is taking her has loved her since I got her she comes to visit her she calls her divas auntie lol well she's not her auntie anymore she's her mommy I'll still be her mommy also I will always be apart of her life and I know she will be spoiled my friend actually took in a stray cat that I caught outside my house last summer and he is the sweetest cat and we'll looked after I get pics of him and I cry when i get pics of him cuz he looks so different from when i caught him he was so skinny and scared and dirty now he's this fat lovable boy
Claire has such a wonderful spirit. I've seen her several times on this show before. And, I'm so sorry she had to go through such a traumatic experience losing her precious dogs...and almost her own life, as well. Thank God she didn't...
So why does RU-vid object to us seeing the surgical removal of a lipoma from a dog here at Bondi Vet but not the surgical removal of a lipoma from a human over at Sandra Lee MD's channel?
Poor Claire. What a horrific incident to have gone through..I'm so happy she and Lola (and Betty) are doing much better now. Wee Kenny is prob the most adorable wombat I have ever seen lol. So cute 🥰
I absolutely LOVE what you guys do! You truly care for these animals and it shows in the compassion you have when treated each one 💕❤️ The only pickle I have is that auto tune….what and why???!!!! It’s so cringy, add another clip without the auto tune please 🙏🏼
I have a dog that’s allergic to grass. If he rolls in it he gets a bath. He used to scratch like crazy and get hives all over him. His poor eyes would get so red! He takes allergy meds now. Much better! A happier and healthier pup 🐶
I’m so happy that it was a ball of fat in Lolas neck. Her owner didn’t need to hear any bad new after losing her 2 other dogs. What a shock that was. Fell in love with the baby wombat!! So very adorable!!🥰🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗💗
I got news from my dogs vet yesterday, my dog, my bundle of loveliness is allergic to grass. I couldn't work out every time he was in the garden he would come in and bite his own feet like it was a tasty 3 course meal... So today I set to it and made him some dog socks... A muscular Staffy x Labrador with fluffy blue socks on looks the daftest thing ever. But now I am thinking if that works with a beautiful cute wombat maybe my dog could be treated in the same manner. Thanks Dr Chris from us in the UK.
Lola and Betty being such joy to their owner after a terrible and tragic ordeal. Kenny is now back to normal. Thank you all the love and care you give to these animals.
🐞I watch a blog on a cat owner in Turkey. When he has a female spayed. It seems to be done on left side just in front of the hip. Is this something you are familiar with? Just wondering. Thanks!🐞
We never would of thought that he would appear on a tv show but he did ....so ...yes I think he would have loved this idea and would have been making ideas for this pallet
@@aprilgosa5779 It's not all on you. The head nurse is Emma. But there is a vet assistant in one of Scott's other locations whose name is Gemma. For a long time I was also confused.
my guinea pig died very suddenly last year (actually, almost exactly a year ago now, the anniversary of her death is in a week or so), with a lump on her neck. the lump was only noticed that day, which is strange because i played with her daily, so i definitely would have noticed it - it came on so quickly and grew so suddenly, and i do mean SUDDENLY, because one day shes perfectly fine and the next day she is increasingly lethargic until she began to fade near midnight and i held her until she passed. im sure the lump was the culprit, but i couldn't get her to a vet fast enough, it was sunday and everybody was closed up etc, i wanted to get her to the emergency vet because i was so scared... either way, i know how scary it is to find a lump on a beloved pets neck ): and after the scary experience and tragedy that woman endured a year prior i bet it feels even worse. so glad lola is ok.
animals are so human emotionally - they need much love and understanding. :) 🐶🐧🐺🦧🐕🐨🦝🐈⬛🐿🌷 so, so glad Lola’s lump was only fat, but, of course, very difficult to get out - jeez!!!! the direction is sooo well done on this series!! :} 🌷
OUR old cat Salem broke 3 of his toes on his left back foot when he was about 2 years old, he had to wear a cast for 12 weeks and the vets did not know if they would have to remove his foot the bones in there feet are so small they often don't heal , he was lucky it did eventually heal, but after he could never retract his claws lol .
who would DO that to any animal being - especially such a helpless babies. lucky little orange got through the anesthesia. and she looks and acts so good now! thank the goodnesses :) and thank you Drs. A and A :) 🐱🌷
He's allergic! Bet ya! Ought to know. Benadryl, take one and wait at least 1 hour. If still itchy take another. Trust me. Ought to know. Green grass OK but not dry or brown. Dust is out. Horses, deer, houseguest, dogs, etc.
While it looks like it's mostly an issue with the tall dry grass, the fact still stands it's a wombat, they eat that tall (dry or not) grass along with other plants
@@prcervi True, except this wombat did not have mothers milk. That fact plays a big role in his allergy. Antibodies from the milk made while drinking mom's milk. Mom eats the grass, properties of the grass are in the milk. Don't understand how that works but it does. An allergy doctor can explain it better.
@@sharonloomis5264 still the odd duck out, since was mentioned wombats they'd raised from younger didn't have that issue even odds whether he'd have had this issue if he'd had the chance to stay with his mom, cause the overly clean environments seem more like they'd only exacerbated an issue he'd have had regardless
