thank you for watching! I'm glad I was able to take this picture because it's not easy to see the expression of a cat. I didn't notice it while I was shooting, but when I was editing, I laughed because the two cats had the same expression.

The reason is because they can kind of smell through their mouths, so when they smell something they're *really* interested in (usually cat poop or pee lol) they will open their mouths like that to better explore the smell

Mugi had misidentified Hama and Kohaku as enemies because of the new cat smell in the place. Koyu is doing better than when he was in the cat room. She loves my wife's mother and seems very happy to be living in her room. She also doesn't like cats, so she is happy not to have to see them.

I tried to get them to get along by watching Jackson Galaxy videos and other methods, but after a month, there was no improvement. Kohaku has FeLV and the doctor said her life expectancy is 3 years at most. We were told that it was important to give her as little stress as possible, so we decided to have Koyu live in my wife's mother's room. Koyu loves my mother very much, and she seems happier than when she was in the cat room. The door to the cat's room was always open, but now we alternate opening the door between the cat's room and the room where Koyu is so that Koyu does not see other cats.
