Mercedes was the youngest at only 16 Fallon and Talena were 17 and Morgan was 18 plus Morgan did part of the vocals with serj tankian for feel good by (Hed) PE the same year
@@theforgotten2864 idk they look like 30 year olds trailerpark trash, so not sure about the ''teen'' shtick. And their awful performance isn't doing any favors ...
Oh I wish I had a song there awesome I seen Slipknot Florida but never seen Kitty seeing them or at least one of the bands members there anyhow thanks for the video awesome
I miss music like this. Back in highschool loved bands like kittie, primer55, union underground, cold, relative ash, systematic, coal chamber......shit the list can go on! This music definitely defined a generation and was a a genre within itself
This whole thing: look, sound, musical genre/style...is coming back. The 90s nü metal and goth scene is coming back in full swing. Turns out people are actually getting really tired of mumble rap and wanna get back to knowing you won't understand a word, but also knowing there's heart and soul in it. Oh, and the lyrics themselves aren't all about sex and "being a G". 🙄 Goth's not dead, it was just sleeping in it's black bedazzled coffin. LOL 🤘🖤🤘
I love how bad the sound engineer is on this performance, but its still good lol. Guitar amp has too much feedback, lead vocal mic is lower than the backup mic, and drums arent miced correctly at all. But still love it lol
The sound engineer clearly had no idea what the fuck he was doing when he was told a metal band was playing and saw 4 chicks step up. Jokes aside, I think the lead vocal mic was lower because the engineer was told there was screaming. No excuse for the shitty cabs and drum mic placements tbf.
which is why there's this obscure practice almost nobody seems to know about called 'sound check', where the sound tech and the featured band are responsible for showing up waaay earlier than the gig, to make sure you are aiming for the best possible outcome (there's always something). what leads to shit sounding performances is any of the parties involved thinking they just need to show up and do their thing and it'll be awesome.
Alternative isn't a thing anymore, just a bunch of wannabes that are trying so hard to be different. It's mostly just a trend but once it goes away, you'll see the real Alt people again.
@@deathkampdrone yeah, but its different. everybody know the mainstream back in the days, even if they dont liked it. Today its really easy to be ignored.
My friends and I were there that night. Front row in front of Conan. Kevin Pollack was the guest. They had a skit called, “Who wants to marry the Masturbating Bear?” Freakin’ hysterical! Conan did a little stand up to warm the crowd before the show and I was dying laughing! Kittie came on and I remember being blown away seeing an all-girl band play that heavy. We saw them outside of the studio after the show and again in Strawberries in Times Square that night. We called them out and told them what a great performance it was. I bought their cd, along with Hatebreed’s Satisfaction is the Death Of Desire. I listened to both albums on the bus ride home to RI that night. Great memory. I was a Senior in high school.
@@lovedeathdisco was Flaw on the bill that night? I remember going to see Flaw at Lupo’s and Kittie was the Headliner so of course I stayed to watch Kittie play. If so, I was at that show too! I went to North Providence High School.
@Crap_filled_vuh_jye_nuh This song is about as basic as it gets. Just drop c bar chords a little palm muting and heavy distortion. There's not much to it.
Every live tv performance of this ends kind of awkwardly it seems. I wait for them to jump back in but then it’s just applause and I wonder if they’re like “…k guess we are done”
This is TRULY real, you can hear Fallon's amp hum in between the chugs in the verse. I've loved Kittie from the VERY beginning. They've been making great music for the better part of a quarter century. They missed the first Fallon "fucking shoulder to lean on... be strong".
Thank you, Thank you Fuzzy Legends. I has the pleasure of meeting these super cool ladies a few times. They put on a great show. Thank you, Thank you Kittie.
God bless Kittie. They should have been as massive as they are in our hearts. This album has no skips! What talent even with this god awful sound mixing
Yeah that was just a long pause, not the end of the song, crowd clapped too early thinking it was over so Conan came out and the band kinda said, okay, guess we're done then...
CLAIM TO FAME - I tried to chat up the guitarist from Kittie at the Tufnell Park Dome when they played the U.K......Let’s just say - She said “No” without saying anything atall 😆
