I missed that unsure how when editing I'll usually put a little blurb to the side. Trying to explain horizontal drop vs incline/decline actual distance. One takes aren't the easiest thing to do and I'm human lol
Working at a firearms retailer, one of the things that surprises me is guys that buy a $1500 scope, for their hunting rifle and then use a $25 set of rings for it.
Loving your channel. As an instructor and RO in the UK 🇬🇧 its great to get any info. Every day is a school day. Yes, I’m a nerd too. Looking forward to the next one. Stay safe brother.
I love my LaRue triggers. But...they have reduced the machining time on their straight bow, I have the original with the middle milled out. That's fine. But...reducing machining time usually means a reduction in overall cost, so why have their triggers gone up 30 dollars?
Brother, Holy F! I missed the day this came out, because I was adding to my firearms building area! That said, what is sitting there now? An 18" DMR, I still have many accessories to add to! I thought I was looking at an FDE version of the one I'm building! Almost the exact same (some different components), went with a cheaper light (for now), not gonna add the Thermal, yet. What ambi-safety did you go with? Just curious, I have a Spikes, been sitting, but it's the full length on both sides=why it's sitting. Anyway, can't wait till your range day!? Also, waiting on a B5-23, using a MagPul...
What you just euphuized about scope placement is something I see quite often as being WRONG, and the comment I get is can't get good eye relief, it looks cool, and I did not know that. You can not stress this enough!
If you call the fbi and ask to speak with the nics people they can help get can approved. I called after 333days, got approved last tuesday. Which was the day i called. Had me cleared 4 hours after speaking with them
Hey uncle, would you be interested in doing a rate my build series? Where subscribers submit a pic and details to whatever topic specific build the video is about and you rate them while also giving tips when needed.
Shoot however you want, but the best long range gas gunners do not shoot thumb same side. It’s a good trend in the bolt action world that unfortunately made it to the semi auto world. Try shooting anything other than prone with thumb same side and at speed. Your recoil management will inevitably suffer.
Dude, get a modern mount for that bipod. And while doing the optic "thermal" mount it might be fun to demonstrate using a PVS-14 in front of your RDS (and behind it, choice is nice), and your LPVO, you'l only be able to pick up part of your zoom range depending on the specific scope. but to add the flexibility to your .223/5.56mm (PVD-14 not rated beyond .223/5.56 though mine has worked great for thousands of 6mm ARC rounds) for the price of the Larue PVS-14 mount is a nice bonus.
For my straight up precision gas gun im running a modified mdt scs stock....for more everything else ubr.... I like the k2 plus....has just a slight rubber feel.....but not like an ergo grip were it grabs everything. Testing the warne light bipod...time will tell but so far i dont hate everythjng about it but it could be built better.
Aim low when shooting uphill and downhill. Gravity is what it is either way and doesn't change. It's time of flight that affects point of impact uphill/downhill. Aim low because there's less TIME gravity can affect the bullet because line of sight distance is less than horizontal distance and the steeper the shit angle the lower the shooter should hold. Or use range finder that gives you a firing solution that calculates the shot angle. Shooting uphill doesn't add gravity to the situation. Carry on....... 💥🇺🇲
What type of accuracy are you seeing out of that BA Mk. 12 barrel? I have the nitride stainless version sitting in a box. And I’m wondering if I should build a upper around it.
I hadn’t heard of amc mags so I checked them out. They’ve got a deal for 3 metal 30 rounders for $30. I had to pick a few up. Hope they’re as good as you say.
