So, I am 13 years old, my name is Lily. Today, I am getting my first ever Diamond Painting in the mail! I had a few questions so if you see this comment, can you reply? Anyone? Thanks! So, my first question is when people get the sticky canvas, once they unbox it, they usually take the plastic cover off and then smooth the plastic cover out then re-stick it. Why is that? Also, what are the benefits of putting the drills into plastic containers V.S plastic bags? Do they work the same? I love your channel and always look forward to your videos! Thanks!

Congrats on your first painting! So for the plastic part it is to help the canvas lay flat. Usually there are a few wrinkles so it helps get those out. I never actually do that and haven't had any issues. As for the plastic vs baggies, I always kit up into the containers that are used in this video. I have a harder time finding the color I'm looking for when they're in baggies so the containers are easier. Also some companies don't have the bags like the ones in this video and you have to cut open the bags so it's just easier to put into a container. Try both ways and see which you prefer! Everyone has their own preferences and the longer you do this you'll figure out what you like. I hope you have a ton of fun!

If you pull back the clear plastic to smooth it back down, don’t pull it all the way off. Also, that clear plastic does have a right and wrong side, and the wrong side will stick to the glue on the canvas and will be very difficult to remove. I sometimes work from containers and sometimes baggies. Have fun with it!
