I know some older fans don't like this song, because it's a change from their more rockabilly sound, and I understand that. I'm a big rockabilly fan myself, and this sound was totally not what I expected. That being said, I do like this song, and I think her voice is absolutely beautiful. Every artist will want to change it up at some point. It's normal to not want to be pigeonholed.

Some fans seem to be having a hard time with the direction KIAC is moving in but quite frankly everything I've heard from the upcoming release has sounded great! Sure, "Cold Black Heart" may have a Country vibe to it (which I'm not a fan of) but if I had a choice this is what I'd want the genre to sound like!

Adam Nicholson that isn't country, Hank Williams the III is country, hell you may even get me to say Mad Sin has a country vibe but this is pure pop shit with a generic sound trying to act like it's underground psychobilly

I absolutely love this song but for whatever reason when I've tried looking up the lyrics they don't match? Like the only two sites that will show them have a completely different song and it says that it's Kitty in a Casket & has their pictures. Very odd. I can't find them anywhere and it's a bummer because there's a few lines where I I can't quite tell what the word should be and I love singing along. Oh well, doesn't make the song any less of a bop~

If i knew nothing of Kitty in a Casket; i would think this was a country song, of which i'm not a fan of the genra. Kinda makes me sad, because i was excited to see a new song up. Hope the next one is more my taste~ Still love Kitty in a Casket though!

blindbyakko There is no country influence in this song! Nick 13 has gone country, Mike Ness has gone a bit country, Hank III is country but this is pop like Katy Perry or that shit rag mousey chick Taylor Swift... If Kitty in a Casket went country it may have been listenable.

Dear fucking god, she took influence from Carrie Underwood's vengeful women songs. The worst part is I expected at least this song to have a horror punk vibe to it with the name being what it is. Rise! (To mainstream.)

This is the tipical way which the bads go when they sign a contact with a record studio.... So LISTEN TO THE NEW SHIT, and i will close this casket for ever for the Kitty. Sorry, this is no more Kitty in a Casket, just only a Pseudonym called Kitty Casket and the band In A... Hallo Wien and old stuff is awesome, this is not more the band i like.
